• Tournaments! Are you ready to become a champion? Prove it in our all new Tournaments Mode! Create a tournament, share it with your friends and then compete across multiple games to crown the ultimate bloon popping champion.
  
  Tournaments can be between 4 and 16 players, have custom club rules and round limits of between 25-35! At the end of the last round, whoever has the highest number of lives will win. If the game is tied, it'll go into sudden death mode where both players will be reduced to 1 life each!

• New map! It's time to get in the fast lane with our awesome new map Roadblock.
  
• It's time to freshen things up in BTD Battles with another round of balance changes! These tower and map changes are sure to shake up some strategies so check out our Facebook page or the in-game patch notes for full details!
  
• We've also made the previously club-exclusive map, Hot Tub, available for all.
  

New Content

• New map - Area 52! Time for a close encounter of the bloon kind with our all new club exclusive map: Area 52. This top secret airfield might be ready for an alien invasion but it'll be you who needs to stop your opponent's bloon invasion as it marches along the runway.
  
• New Skins will also be added over the coming weeks! To coincide with the extra terrestrial theme of the new map, the first of these is available now; the UFO Heli-Pilot skin!
  
• You can now click and hold to send bloons! No longer will you need to wear out your mouse/index finger when playing an eco strat, as clicking and holding on a bloon will launch a steady stream of bloons to your opponent's side (works for non MOAB-bloons only)!
  
• Replays can now be shared with friends directly from the post-match lobby.
  

Bug Fixes

• You'll no longer be required to watch an ad before a Battles TV match is finished.
  
• Broken decal textures should now be fixed.
  
• Bloon health and speed scaling should now be applied correctly in replays.

• Battles TV! - Do you want to see what strategies the pros are using? Have you pulled off an amazing upset that you just NEED to share? Now you can with Battles TV! Drop in and spectate live games as they happen, or check out full replays of completed battles. So, be warned; you'd better bring your A-game, bloon poppers - the world is watching!

• In our bid to keep the game as fun and interesting as we can, we've made a whole bunch of balance changes which will hopefully help encourage players to try out different strategies and prevent the meta from getting stale. A full list of changes can be found in the in-game patch notes!
  
• New skins! Since you all seemed to enjoy the last batch of skins, we've added a bunch of new ones to this update, and much like the last time, they'll be released periodically - starting soon!
  
• You can now choose which badge is displayed beside your profile in the game lobby!

• New Map - Wattle Resort! A huge congratulations to Battles player, Andrew Ting, who was the winner of our map design competition with his boomerang themed track, Wattle Resort! Your monkeys can get some fresh air and soak up the sun as they battle bloons by the pool in this awesome new map! Congratulations, Andrew!
  
• Tower Skins! We're adding new tower skins (one each for the Dart Monkey, Ninja Monkey, Apprentice and Bomb Tower) so you can make them look even more fierce out on the battelfield! Skins will be released periodically so keep an eye out for the first one becoming available very soon!
  
• Clan Chest loot! We've freshened up the Clan Chest rewards by adding some awesome new items to the top three chests.
  
• Balance Changes! We've also made a whole host of balance changes to help keep things as interesting and fun as possible. Check out the full list of changes in the in-game change log or over on the BTD Battles Facebook page!

• It's time to supercharge your strategy as BTD Battles gets a major balance overhaul! Several towers and Bloons have been adjusted to allow more viable strategies. Check the patch notes to see how your favorites have changed.
  
  NOTE: We realise there are some big changes to towers that might affect your favourite strategies, but we'd ask players to give the meta a week or two to settle, get used to the new changes then send us any feedback you have. We'll be monitoring what you guys have to say very closely with a view to making more changes in upcoming updates.
  
  
• Private match codes are here! No longer will you need to only play with Steam friends - you can now create private matches with mobile players, too! Just create a match, give the code to your friend and they'll be able to join instantly!
  

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue which caused the clan list to have a long load time. They should now populate much quicker!
  
• Resolved an issue which caused incorrect reporting of some player's previous weeks leaderboard rank.

Rack up wins to improve your clan's War Chest and climb the leaderboards and reap the amazing rewards! Call your friends, create your clan and get popping!
  
• Two festive arenas will be running for a limited time only, with Winter Wonderland and North Pole!
  
• Holiday Decals! Spruce up your bloon sends by adding some of these awesome new seasonal decals.
  
• Projectile Skins - Add some flair to your battles by making all your tower’s projectiles gold or silver. The ultimate in Bloons bling!
  
• Profile Skins - Show your opponent your sense of style with a unique profile skin visible in the lobby.

• We're celebrating the launch of our brand new game Bloons Supermonkey 2 on iOS/Android with an all new battle arena and map! Super Monkey Lane is a short and intense track that will need your very best strategies to defend. Watch out for the limited edition Bloons Super Monkey 2 Battle arena to play on this new and exclusive map!
