We are planning a big update on March.
Many features on the road map are being tested at the moment along with the new UI.
Most of the features found in the normal survival games will be added in March.
But for this March update, we are going to make the players enjoy the game for at least 3~4 hours. By 3-4 hours, I mean hours of fun and diverse game play, not just collecting a bunch of stuff and making new things. We want to do it right this time :)
Many more maps, items, and characters and planned features on the road map will be added for sure. I'm crafting(no pun intended) a raid system where vikings can plunder your ship. Sounds like fun right?
We are going to reveal our daily development plan soon(March). And you will be able to communicate with the developer(me) and the artist(my friend) on Discord.

Update and Bug Fixes Feb/03 2019
Update:
- Basic Save/Load feature has been added.
- Crosshair has been added.
- You can purify sea water using a purifier.
- Ocean sound is adjusted when you are underwater.
Bug Fixes:
- crashing during level loading and exiting. -> Much more stable on most systems.
- ocean shader flickering issue after deserializing. -> Fixed.
- ledge offset is applied to every object in a correct way.
Known Issues:
- Too many fish entities being updated at the same time occasionally causes crashing on low-end systems when saving/loading the game. We are planning to create a small system that can handle this issue.
- When you have many platforms and walls attached to your ship, driving gets too difficult.
- When you shoot an arrow, it's destroyed too fast upon impact.
- Some animation objects not playing animation for the first few minutes.(Salmon not moving the first time).
- water purifier water(sea water and clean water) disappears. -> It only happens when you start the game the first time.
For this week's update, we have added a save/load feature.
With save/load system and resource management system in place, we can now focus on adding fun stuff(new complete maps, oceanic creatures AI, underwater exploration just to name a few).
So starting next week, you guys will be able to experience the game and see it develop at a rapid pace.
* We recommend uninstalling the game first before you download the new build. Steam only updates necessary changes as it sees fit, which sometimes causes some unexpected results.
* Turn off Nivida Overlay when starting the game. It seems to cause crashing on low-end systems.

Bug and Update reports
1. You can now tweak graphics settings. We will add more advanced controls shortly.
2. Weapon flikering issue in third person view has been fixed.
3. Crossbow would sometimes cause the player to walk slow. Fixed.
4. Crossbow skeleton animation would cause memory leak issues. Fixed.
5. Cannibals now show proper hit reaction when hit.
7. Unnoticed, You can do stealth kill.
8. UI icons(building and weapon) have been added.
Known Issues
1.When the game starts, occasionally it defaults back to window mode.
Restart the game to switch it back to fullscreen mode.
2. Jumping while throwing a hook occasionally causes the jumping action to stop.
3. When you die, you automatically respawn at your first spawn point.
Currently, ropes disappear when you respawn.
For now, we recommend you to go back to the main menu and start from
the beginning when you die until we fix the bug.
We have had crashing reports from people who bought the game for the past couple of days.
We have tested on our machines with different graphics configurations. And we did have a few crashing issues from certain graphics cards configuration. On our low-end machines(750ti and its radeon equivalents), the game would stutter and crash with the graphics setting set to Ultra.
After tweaking the graphics setting to be more performant(low, medium), we had few crashing issues from most of our machines. If you have a mid-range graphics card(1050ti or higher), the game will run just fine without compromising the visuals.
We are currently contacting Crytek to help us figure out the issue just in case.
If you are still experiencing crashing issues, try different graphics settings in the option menu and let us know how it works via Steam Hub or our mail, NukaGames21@gmail.com Also, attaching a log file(game.log in the game folder) will help us track down the issue more easily.
We are planning to test on more machines with various graphics cards in the coming weeks. And you will be able to contact us via our social channels soon. If you have questions or creative game ideas about the game, feel free to ask. :)
P.S. Since this is our first project, we've had a busy week. :)
Being a huge steam fan myself, I understand that the community's role is essential in pushing the game in the right direction.
Since BlueFear is rahter early in production, we'd really like to get fun ideas from people and merge them into the game. And of cousre, we'll try to fix the crashing issues as soon as possible.
We'll post our roadmap shortly. So stay tuned. Cheers:)
Hello, Community.
Hello, this is our first official announcement.
As promised in the early access section, we will post our road map and development plans shortly after release.
Since this is still early in development , we are trying to get as much feedback as possible from our community. Creative ideas and healthy criticism and feedback from the community will really help us make the game better.
Since Blue Fear is still early in production, any creative ideas suggested by the community will likely be implemented or merged with the current game mechanics. This is our first game. So, feedback from the community will be absolutely invaluable to us.
Because we feel that the core game mechanics and game play has room for improvement, we kept the first map small to make sure everything works.
Once the game's core mechanics are done, we will add more bigger maps and contents.
Oceanic creatures AI system is in the works, but it is at a playable state.
When the system is stable enough, we will add humpback whales and some ancient oceanic creatures.
Feel free to post any issues or bugs you are experiencing during the game play.
