Gameplay Modifiers Added
As of Update 1.1.8, two new gameplay modifiers have been added: Gravitic Acceleration, and Electrostatic Acceleration! These modifiers are only available for local multiplayer and standard singleplayer modes. More details below:
Gravitic Acceleration:
Applies a constant acceleration on all electrons towards the nucleus (or away from the nucleus, if you really want anti-grav.)
Scales linearly with the atom (aka, the Magnesium nucleus has 12 times the gravity of Hydrogen's)
Electrostatic Acceleration:
Applies an exponential acceleration on all electrons towards the nucleus and on all electrons away from each other (again, this is reversible)
Scales linearly with the atom (aka, the Magnesium nucleus has 12 times the electric charge of Hydrogen's)
Using the Neutron border (unlocked via the True Neutron achievement) grants immunity to this acceleration.
Note that BOTH may be active at the same time if so desired...
Enjoy!

Tutorial Updated
As of Update 1.1.5, more quality of life changes have been made. These include:
Quality of life upgraded. Trash talk increased to compensate.
With the most recent update (1.1.0), there's good news and bad news.
The good news is that several new quality of life features have been added. Chief among these are the ability to customize text color on a per-atom basis (so no more black text on a black background!), tips that pop up when certain buttons are highlighted, SFX volume control, improved emote access, and an additional 50 preset taunt lines that can be equipped from the relevant Customization menu.
The bad news is that both electrons and nuclei now have the power to both compliment and insult you. There's now a 50% chance whether each particle in a given game will be "positive" or "negative". "Positive" particles will say nothing if they do well against you, and will compliment you on good play. "Negative" particles will taunt you if they do well, and complain when you do well.
