Devlog:
Windows played a cool prank on me and deleted all of my BMAPSAVE files, which is used to edit maps. I had to decrypt and load the BMAP files (the map files you load in-game) into the map editor manually to recover them.
All of the maps are still precisely the same, but it juggled their md5 hash values which are used to check if you have the correct map for the server, so I need to push a version number to make sure everyone has these newly compiled maps.
All the other stuff may or may not be already in the previous version, they are just in the change log for documentation purposes.
Also like I said hundreds of times, I will continue bug fix updates as long as needed, so if I hear "OMGGG YOURE STILL UPDATING" I will unpin a grenade and leave it in your adventure time onesie.

Dev Log
It's finally here lads. The last major update.
I added a bit of content since people were wanting some so much, but its not a lot. I also tried to buff as many weapons as I could without thinking I would break them.
This does not mean I will refuse to update anything after this. Any future updates are possible, but they will be very tiny and only have bug fixes. No more content or changes or anything will be added.
Also "Dyson Pizza" won the billboard contest! It should now appear on the rooftops map. Congrats to Holy M. Da results
I also might hop on to play tommorrow and stream it, lemme know if thats interesting.
Added

- Added 5 new Premium hats. I’m your new favorite developer.
- Added an option to disable the mouse wheel (you can now use it to change weapons)
- Added a server option to disable the TDM control point
- Added a server option to enable Overtime
- Added /steam and /id to REMOTE CONSOLE commands.
- Added a (very) basic technical help section in the main menu
- Added the ability to disable the anti-cheat for your server
- Added video option to disable the “ghosts” in Climb mode

Changed
- Team Deathmatch: A control point will now spawn in the middle of the map if a round takes too long. If a team captures it, they will win the round. You capture it much more quickly than a Take Over control point.
- Capture the Flag: Autobalance will now ignore flag carriers
- Capture the Flag: Overtime will be initiated if either flag is not in base when time is up
- Levels: Level is now capped out at level 100. You can no longer find gold tickets when leveling up.
- Levels: You can now earn XP on custom maps, mutators and with bots without restriction.
- Gold Tickets: Gold tickets are now found when the match ends (matches must be longer then 6 min). The longer the match, the more the chance increases.
- Gold Tickets: Gold tickets can still be found in Survival chests for the same chance as before, however it still must be a stock map.
- Levels/Gold Tickets: XP weekends have been replaced with Gold ticket weekends
- Zombrains: Zomikazes can no longer explode during grace period
- Zombrains: Removed speed increase from Zomikazes
- Survival/Zombrains: AI enemies now have a hard set grace period of 2 seconds
- Bots: New name generator and extended bot chatter
- Replaced the “Thats All Folks” achievement with “The Beanjo Maneuver” achievement

- Fixed not being able to use mouse wheel while creating load outs
- Fixed the team select menu getting stuck if you clicked a team you can’t join
- Fixed grenade throws being delayed after firing a weapon with a slow fire rate
- Fixed not being able to open the weapon menu while dead in Survival
- Fixed stats page saying you had 1 less achievement
- Fixed being able to hold the jetpack, skateboard, etc like a grenade
- Fixed the boomerang flying forever if the thrower dies
- Fixed being able to scope with weapons that don’t have scopes
- Fixed being able to fire infinite fusion cannon rounds
- Fixed low health sound looping when max health mutator is under 25
- Fixed being able to shoot through some walls with sniper rounds

Maps
- Altered some areas on many maps to get rid of camping spots (or make them less effective)
- Boring Lake now has a sky walk between each base and the middle tower
- Added TDM flags to each map.
Weapons
- All SMGs and Uzis (Except Power SMG and Dual SMGs) no longer have weight, much like pistols and melee weapons.
- Power SMG: Decreased projectile speed
- Power SMG: Reduced weight
- Bow: Decreased arrow pull back speed, not pulling back all the way will always give you low damage
- Buzzer: Slightly increased accuracy
- Plasma Shot: Increased damage
- Light SMG: Increased projectile speed
- Muleslapper: Increased reload speed
- Acid Gun: Slightly increased damage
- Rail Gun: Increased fire rate
- Blaster: Slightly increased damage to all firing modes
- Dual Pistols: Increased fire rate

If your billboard didn't make it, sorry. Here are a few things that went into consideration:
- Followed the rules
- It actually being somewhat of a billboard (advertising or representing something)
- Effort, in general
- Matching the art style
- Lore friendly
Those last two points were tricky because some boards were really well made, but choked because they would look out of place in game, or had really nothing to do with B-Man. I understand I'm no art connoisseur, so PLEASE don't put yourself down as a bad artist.
Voting will end SATURDAY and hopefully I'll get the update out this weekend or next week.

Me and some personal friends are going to start judging. You can still submit a billboard until we announce the 3 winners which should be in a few hours or so.
Some people sent their billboards as a JPG or the wrong size and I didn't notice til now, so check your emails to see if you need to fix it. We'll wait for as long as we can but you really should've followed the directions more closely.

Wednesday will be the last day I stop looking for suggestions entirely and the last day to submit your billboard art. I will keep taking bug reports though.
I would like the new update to go stable next weekend. Voting for the best billboard will take place until then.

Rules:
1. Use the template, keep the image size the same (320x240). Send it as a png, NOT jpg. Crappy compressed images or a photo of a hand drawn image (you will need to scan it) will not be accepted. It's okay if you mess up, ill let you know what you need to fix before accepting.
2. Racism, homophobia, sexism, general hatred towards someone, etc. will not be accepted, or even uploaded to the photo album, and I will shame you over email if needed.
3. Don't attach your stupid game suggestions to the billboard email or I will ignore it, please keep it on the forum or in a separate email at least. Sorry, it's just really annoying to have to wade through shit suggestions any time i interact with any of you.
4. Multiple submissions and submission edits are fine, but you can only pick one of them to enter, and i won't decide for you.
And here are some tips to increase your chances of being picked:
- Keep it lore friendly. I will probably cringe at billboards that feature self-inserts, clans or original characters that have too much focus.
- I wouldn't include me on the board, I appreciate it but I'm not actually part of the B-Man universe. (the survival boss isnt really canon, or that whole mode for that matter)
- The Somewhereland stick people don't wear clothes, they only wear hats/masks/crap on their backs. They don't have faces, they express themselves through body language.
- Despite what I said at the beginning, if you want to put your own vandalism on your billboard, thats fine.
- Hand drawn is fine, just make sure to scan it (nicely) and implement it into the billboard image before sending. Don't take a fucking picture of it with your phone/camera you doofus!!
I appreciate good art, but remember this game isn't exactly a deeply moving pixel art master piece, so don't feel intimidated if your art sucks. It can't be any better then mine.
As a final note, I'll only run the contest if I get a handful or more of submissions. If only like... 4 people submit an entry then I don't think I can run it.
The Future of Boring Man, Part 2
So some of you are saying a lot of dumb crap, so I'm guessing I wasn't clear on a few things.
"Abandoning"
This has been a nice word to see that makes me feel good and I'm real glad how grateful some of you are. The game is not being abandoned, a game CAN'T be abandoned if its finished. Does a construction worker abandon a house when he's done building it? Ridiculous.
Valve and Minecraft must have unfortunately raised the next generation of gamers to be entitled because apparently some of you are convinced that a developer has to anchor themselves to update their games for eternity. I actually like to finish my games, so if you don't like that, theres a whole list of Steam games that are right up your alley, labeled Early Access games.
My involvement
I don't plan on interacting with the community as much when the update is out, but the servers will always be up as long as people are playing.
Sequel
I have no plans for a direct sequel. Maybe a silly spin off game on mobile or something, but I don't see a full fledged sequel being possible.
Until GM gets server/VPS friendly features, or i somehow have the energy to learn a new language, don't expect a sequel or any more multiplayer focused games from me in the future.
Rewrite
Some of you have also been rudely demanding I rewrite the game like its an easy feat. If I wanted to do that, I'd just make a sequel instead, but you just read why I don't want to do that. Secondly, the game isn't very popular and doesn't seem worth the effort. On top of that, the small community it has doesn't even seem to appreciate my efforts anyways, so whats the point?
Updating
If there is a game breaking bug discovered in the future, it's not like I won't be too stubborn to fix it. It's not a decision set in stone, so if you're worried about some exploit being found, I will fix it if I think it really needs fixing.
Premium
Really depressing how I have to mention this but Premium will never be free. It's not a thing I'm trying to keep away from 10 year olds without a credit card, its a thank you to those who support me. If you want to give me $5, then thank you, have some hats. Thats it. You don't need Premium to enjoy the game.
Anyhow thats all the explaining I'm going to do. If you're still not happy after this, then you're probably not the kind of player I want following my work anyways. Stay gold.
edit: I know there are plenty of you out there who do support my work, and thanks, I know you're there. This game has just made me pretty grumpy the past year and I don't mean to lump you in with the others.

The Future of Boring Man - OTSC
Today with somber apathy, I would like to announce the next update (1.2.7) (and any small hot fixes immediately following it) will be the FINAL release.
What this means is I will no longer update the game and it will be the final product.
This game is pretty old. It will turn 5 years old in a few months and updating it at this point is like beating a dead horse. I would like to move on to other projects, however to work without any interruption I will need to free myself from this game.
However unlike a lot of developers, instead of silently distancing myself from the game, I would like to leave it with a big fix up.
I will open a pinned thread in the Steam forums, and you are all welcome to post bug fixes and suggestions. Obviously, a lot of suggestions and bug fixes will be rejected, but I will try my best to at least provide closure as to why they are rejected. Please don't email me because my email is delayed because I have it forwarded to my gmail account and I'd like for everyone to be in one place.
I understand there are a few glaring problems, but the work to resolve them is just not worth it in my opinion. If you have any questions, just visit the thread suggestions linked below.
I have no plans to shut down my servers and the server list. As long as people are playing, the servers will be up. I simply just want to move away from this project as a developer and work on something new.
