Might take a little while to get it a new version on steam as I am going to try to recover some levels we could not get to work on mobile into the new framework.

Optimization and Mobile (Loss of mod support)

A few of us have been working pretty psychotically the last couple of months to port the game to Mobile, and in doing so have been optimizing and cleaning up a lot of the mistakes we made as well as changing level dynamics etc.

To this end we will be updating the game here on steam when we are finished which will do a few things:

1: Lower the install size drastically, down to (Estimated) 2-3 gigs

2: Remove mod support, the infrastructure we are using will be the mobile one which cannot support it but we are basically rebuilding a lot of the game and since it isn't going anywhere on a mod level anyway why not :P

3: Levels will be re-organized into the normal scheme and a Bonus section

4: Some levels will not survive the re-organization, to that end we will leave the OG BW download available in DLC

5: All your saves are belong to us. They gonna be shot.



Also when we do the update for PC I will include a notice in the update for anyone who wants to try the game on IOS, providing we can get some way to distribute it for free to those who bought the game on PC we will.

RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!!

Full release is now live, as far as we can tell it seems to be playing nice as a 'update' but as a precaution we have implemented a new save so you will lose all progress from early access. Sorry for the inconvenience but so much has changed since then that it was needed.

Feel free to report any and all bugs if you find any, we were insanely and idiotically as meticulous as we could be but even then we might have missed something :)

PS: There is no Kraken, we didn't release with a Kraken, for all your Kraken related needs... find another game I guess...

We are currently at 45 levels out of the 50. Expecting a full release sometime mid-late February :) I was going to update with 7 levels but it seemed more fitting to just wait a few weeks and go to full release, that way we can hash out language translations and the last few minor features we wanted in a finished product.

The price will be going up to 9.99 USD but there will be a launch week discount of 30% to drop it to it's current Early Access price.

Update 12/18 Bugs squashed and performance enhanced

Bug fixes



  • First time installation crashes have been resolved, created our own installer that runs once when you launch the game.
  • Continuous installation of redistributables on launch has been neutralized (Not our bug but we fixed it for steam anyway cause it was annoying us)
  • The audio glitch should be gone or if not at least beaten mostly into submission
  • Chrome Magnum animations have been optimized
  • Fixed a minor bug in UI sliders
  • Troll boss should now care about the psychotic caffeine addicted wheel trying to blow him up.
  • The bears in Boom Boom Baysin decided to finish the job and ate the trees they had previously eaten the textures off of.
  • Some typos should be fixed
  • The bears in SiBearia (Unlike the bears in Boom Boom Baysin) were nice and regurgitated the textures back onto all the trees.
  • Steam overlay should be clean and clear for everyone now.


Performance and gameplay changes



  • The poison spiders no longer have a 5 year debuff when they slow you, it has been reduced to 2.5 seconds.
  • We reduced the size of the project by over 1 gig, then increased it by over a gig with correct enhanced lighting, then we reduced it by another gig by optimizing the lighting, then we increased it by about a gig with our custom installer. GG us.. Irony 1, size of project 0. Looks a lot better and runs smoother though.
  • Tutorial level hint popups now in the UI and probably easier to read.
  • Added game splash icon.
  • Added game launch banner.
  • Most levels should have a decent improvement in lighting as well as performance.
  • Did some other stuff here and there.
  • Framerate is no longer locked to 62 max.

We Have Launched (Few Gremlins launched with us)

It has been a fun and sometimes exhausting road, but here we are. And we do have a product we are all proud of to offer to you. With that being said, it is Early Access and we do have a few pesky critters that made their way into the builds, some we knew about, others we are finding out about.

If you encounter one of these fiends do not be alarmed. We will eradicate them post haste, unless we find a really cute one or it does something hilarious, then we might build a level around it.

Check the thread for updates if you encoutner a bug, will also have help if there is issues etc in this thread.
