The Mobs & Trophies Update!

I wrapped up another big sprint of updates for Breakwaters, and I can't wait for everyone to try it out!
This update includes new features, new items, new creatures, new gameplay, and some user requested updates. Check out the details below.

Trophies & Driving a Turtle Titan


The Turtle Titan, Serpent Titan, and Mega Golem all now drop Trophy items you can decorate your base with. If you assemble all of the different Turtle Titan Trophies, it lets you access a fun easter egg where you can pilot a Turtle Titan around for a short time.


Red Crystals mob spawner


Red Crystals now exist in the world and can be found at night in Red Crystal Beacons.
The Beacons attract angry creatures to them though, so keep an eye open for mobs. Each night a different mob type will randomly spawn, and harder islands have harder mobs with new creatures.
The mobs also increase in difficulty with the difficulty setting in the game.
Most islands have one Red Crystal Beacon on them, be sure to track it down and harvest the crystal to build some unique items.


Shoes and Level up Potions


Shoe items now exist in the build menu. You can build Running shoes and Swimming shoes which make your sprint move speed much faster.

Fast Travel


You can now open the Fast Travel menu while you are driving a boat.
It lets you Fast Travel to any known Dock location, so build a new Dock anywhere you want a Fast Travel location to be.

Panning Minimap update


The Minimap has been updated to a constant scrolling map that tracks with the player!

Click & Hold attack


By popular request, most weapons now allow you to click-and-hold to continuously attack.
Makes harvesting rocks and trees a little less stressful on your mouse finger. ;)

Camera improvements


NPC conversation cameras received a quality of life update.
Camera movement while the character is moving through the world has also received a new quality of life update. Plus some bugs reported by users have been fixed to improve overall camera quality.

-Level Up Potion items added to the Cooking Bench and setup as a rare loot at the large Pirate Base.
