I have been working on a very large update which includes the Serpent Titan boss... well, Its now live!
This update also has new missions, new items, new weapons, two new biomes, lots of improvements, bug fixes, quality of life updates, and performance improvements. ... ITS HUGE!
I am still working on the video for this update, but I wanted to release it for everyone to play before the week was over. I will share the new video early next week and details on a lot of what is in this update, plus what is happening next in the game.
Now that this update is public, and took longer than I wanted (sorry), the next updates should be able to come much faster, so expect new content in the coming weeks.

v0.9.52 -Serpent Titan now spawns in the world! -Setup Fishing Pole and related world logic. -Setup Titan Stone Axe. -Setup Titan Stone Arrow. -Setup Arrow logic to fall off of dead bodies when they are removed from the world so you can retrieve arrows a bit easier. -Localization fix for Creative Mode Serpent Titan stuff. -Setup button tips while a bow is equipped. -Minor Titan bug fix in rare cases. -Increased Treasure/loot in Pirate Village. -Fixed a bug in the Settings menu. -Reduced Roshi fish mission from 20 to 6 fish. -Improved ammo HUD to better show you when you have other types of ammo available. -Typhoon Cannon Ball ammo can be bought at the Village. v0.9.10 -Improved Dead Serpent Titan Island spawn location logic. -Improved Charge cannon reticle accuracy while the boat is moving. -Setup Serpent Titan option in Creative Mode worlds. -Fixed a World Map issue in creative mode where Titan Icons would not always match what was in the world.
v0.9.01 -Improved boat float logic to work with Typhoons better and to fix a bug where a boat may get stuck on the bottom of the ocean. -Improved player swim logic to work with Typhoons. -Fixed FireFly harvesting so it properly consumes empty bottles again. -Improved Firefly harvesting action so its easier to do. -Fixed text that was using a single-quote instead of an apostrophe causing odd spaces in the displayed text. -Update to Firefly bottle to recycle into an empty bottle. -Fixed an issue with moving Firefly bottles in inventory while they are equipped and the UI showing the wrong feedback. -Increased brightness of Titan Beam warning zone so it reads better at night. -Reduced black rock drop rate 25% -Update to deep ocean rock islands to provide more variety in size and create a more interesting world. -Fixed a case where a glider boat could fall below the ground if left on a FireCliff island and then the player sailed far away. -Fixed Glider Boat (Hawk) network ownership bug. -Fixed Glider Boat (Hawk) bug where it could get under the ground if you traveled really far away from it. -Fixed a music bug where a track may not fade out quick enough and multiple tracks would play at the same time. -Improved Character and World save file rename logic to not exit out early when "e" is pressed. -Improved Charge Cannon aim and reticle logic. -Increased Cannon and Charge Cannon aim fov both horizontal and vertical. -Reduced cost of Ballista Shot. -Increased Black Stone drop rate. -Fixed a loot spawn bug where it could give more than expected. -Setup a secondary reticle for the Charge Cannon that shows the general direction it was fired in while the shot builds up.
The big Serpent Titan content update is coming later this week!
I wanted to let everyone know that the Serpent Titan update is coming later this week. This update is big! The Serpent Titan will be unleashed on the world, plus new items, new equipment, new missions, lots of quality of life improvements and update... oh and a fishing pole.

Quick fix: health bug fix and swimming & boat improvement
v0.8.99.3 -Fixed an issue with player stats being reset on loads to max value because of some debug code running in release mode. -Improved boat float logic and fixed a bug where a boat could get stuck on the bottom of the ocean but wont anymore. -Improved player swim logic.
Quick updates and improvements
v0.8.99.2 -Improved Glider Boat turbulence while flying in Storms. -Improved island spawn logic to reduce object spawn issues in rare cases. -Improved minimap visuals to reduce aliasing. -Adjusted how much rain builds up on the ground each frame. -Fixed an issue with Stone Doors when playing in Low graphics settings not blocking water. -Update to Stone Doors to polish their setup a little.
Weather & Storms Update!
The Weather & Storms Update is now live!
In addition to Rain, Storms, Lightning, and Waves, this update brings new contraptions, new/improved UI, and new gameplay. Check out the Rain video and more details below:
Collecting Rain Water
Rain adds to the simulation and collects on the ground. The water can flow down hill, and will collect in areas not covered by roofs or floors. Clouds now also cast shadows on the world and affect where the ground wetness reacts.
Covered Areas
Since Rain can now put out fires, covered areas will keep the rain out and floors dry while your fires stay lit.
Storm Winds and Sails
Storm winds now exist while you travel the world. When you enter a storm area, the waves get bigger and the winds will start to shift. To help, there is a new Sail Wind UI feedback that shows up when you adjust the sail rotation.
Improved Building UI
When building, you can now see thumbnails for each variant this object has for quicker selection. The building logic has also been improved for better interaction.
Some new contraptions and contraption variants have been added to the game. You can now build a Peaked Thatch Roof and new Wood Wall shapes to help round out the options and make more structures possible.
UI polish and additions
There is now a Time Of Day UI attached to the minimap to help you know if its day or night when you are in the middle of a storm. The remote workbenches UI pips have also been updated next to the minimap to read a bit stronger. The building hotkeys UI has been moved to the side of the screen for consistent feedback and to make the build info window smaller.
I addition to the above, I completed multiple quality of life changes, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Check out the build notes below for the details.
Whats Next?
The Weather & Storms update involved a lot of changes to how the world works and improvements to existing rendering. All of it is working towards adding the Serpent Titan combat, plus new features like Typhoons to the world. I am also looking ahead at some new enemy types and islands, plus a big improvement/addition to core gameplay which would impact across early and late game.
Hope you enjoy the Weather & Storms Update. This is the first step towards releasing the Serpent Titan since their gameplay is connected. Keep an eye out for that release happening soon.
