Minigunning ICE Mod Contest

[p]Still need to put the Meatiator minigun to good use, and what better way than a mod contest where you have to mow down as many ICE agents as possible? Just uploaded a patch with a new object called "iceAgent" complete with texture and face icon (thanks to dudithebudi).[/p][p]The rules are simple: let the player use the minigun to execute as many Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as you can. LAPD would also be acceptable if you wanna make the texture. For police, I'm sayin', "Fuck you, punk", Readin' my rights and shit, it's all junk. Don't get arrested out there (or illegally abducted by pussies in masks).[/p][p][/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/29239340/193d3c428097cc3898c07fd4eddee6459a449235.png"][/p][p][/p][p]Deadline is August 5th at 11:59pm. First place gets $60. [p]Was playing Smashzone's Arctic Adventure mod and got frustrated with Brigand's half-functional ladders. I climbed up a lighthouse and found a revolver, then couldn't get back down. Problem is fixed and you can now climb down ladders by using them from the top. Warlordocracy Ch.5

[p]Warlordocracy Ch.5 is out and the main story is now finished. I haven't playtested from the beginning since Ch.2 was released, so the balance is gonna be all fucked up. I will playtest all summer and leave early access in August, hopefully.[/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/2498140/Warlordocracy_Ch_5/"][/p][p]Then there will be Chapter 6: The Path of Glass, set 25 years later, and your party members will all be old with decreased stats, so you don't get overpowered. That should be out by New Years.[/p][p][/p][p]Warlordocracy looks like a JRPG, but I promise you, it is not a JRPG. Version 16.5, Nukular Winter Contest Winner

Reworked the saving system again to fix a problem with modding status effects, which I learned about from Smashzone's mod when the new cold effect was causing X-ray vision. Also added two new hotkeys to directly open the character screen and objectives screen (N and M).

Made a new font size option specifically for plugin text (set to "all" to see it in the menus). Plugin font size is completely different for me depending on which computer I'm on, so it's hard to pick a size. It's about 2 points too big in my Dev folder and the Steam install folder. It's like 6 points too big when launched from the Steamworks folder. And it's the exact right size on the Steam Deck, so I'm going with that. People have told me that it's way too small on their computers, however. Any feedback on font size would be appreciated. This is pissing me off.

6mm ammo is now more expensive (38 jink instead of 30), and corrected "clip" to "mag" in some shopkeeper dialogue. Also, player's armor is removed when starting New Game+ with PANAMA for story purposes (you gotta start naked).

Plus other minor fixes.

Fixed a ton of script bugs thanks to Salvos on the Steam bug report thread, and one thanks to dudithebudi. Also, box objects of "animal" material no longer pulsate because it looked terrible, like AARFY's floor, but other shapes still do.

Finally, updated troubleshooting info regarding black screen and cursor on start-up, thanks to techno_will. If you see a black screen on startup, try these steps:
1) Turn off system frame limits.
2) Change video settings to "High performance Nvidia processor."
3) Try non-Steam version if all else fails.

New minigun called the Meatiator, which modders can spawn with the command "make=minigun". It's also been placed in the PANAMA DLC, but it's broken and empty, ammo hidden separately.

Added a couple new commands to animate player's equipment and set a wind-up property for weapons. The Meatiator takes about 1 second to wind up. Also fixed a couple rare bugs and fixed the Gun Smith ability, which was somehow completely broken.

Version 16.2

Added some dialogue and readable text to PANAMA that fills in some plot holes (connected Dr. Lee to Mabel). Tweaked the first PANAMA battle at Isla Darien so that Ballistic has a better chance of surviving (he has a lot of dialogue that goes to waste otherwise).

Also fixed AI switching items in the code. Ballistic would use a medkit and then switch to the machete by default. Now AI equips ranged weapons first, then looks for melee.

New blood textures for NIGHTMARE thanks to 5nakey.

Demons in NIGHTMARE now use the original textures again, and the special NIGHTMARE textures are now used for harder varieties, like the Elder Isopod Demon and the Mocker Demon (larger versions of Hecklers that now spawn in NIGHTMARE).

Tripwires can now be disarmed with 10 Hardware skill. Had to update the story files for this one. Also fixed a ton of little bugs, including one with the Poisoned War Axe script.

Maps now load 5 times faster. Ricardo's Plantation loads in under 10 seconds. I apologize for wasting so much of people's time up till now on the map loading screen. Hopefully you spent those long load times memorizing vocab in a foreign language or rubbing one out.

There is now also an option to use the native resolution of your OS. If the resolution is not one of the defaults on the list, the scope and mask overlays are changed to sprites and stretched out over the screen, unfortunately obscuring the HUD. I'll have to do something about that in next patch.

Still another patch coming, hopefully by Saturday or Sunday. No spoilers.
