Keybind, merchant and more

A new update that includes keybind inside the game.
The merchant had been added.

The core is done and Brinefall is slowly progressing toward its release early next year.

Huge combat, building overhaul and changes to come!

Since the release of the demo, I have received more than a hundred feedback and it really helped to shape the future of Brinefall. Thank you!

I wanted to take a moment to keep you informed of what comes with the next massive update.

Combat overhaul
The combat system will be greatly improved with weapon abilities, enemies's attacks can now be avoided and not indicate their next move.
The controls are also revamped for a better feeling.

Better building system
Many bugs have been fixed, the control is improved and the recipes will be learnable.

And much more!
Improved quest system, invasions, bosses, better audio, and elites to fight.

The example above is just to name a few but I wanted to take the time to inform you about the development and tell you that the feedback was really useful to pinpoint what needed to be done. I will still need some time before I can release the update but I can't wait to share it and get your feedback!

Update 4

Buildings are easier to snap now!

Did some modifications to the terrain to avoid clipping when building on it.
Fixed some building parts that can't be deleted but the roofs are still a problem, it will be fixed on an upcoming update.

Merchant table text and size fix
You can nom buy spells from the mage
The building tooltip now shows the happiness gain
The happiness of all buildings had been tweaked
Corner roofs can now be placed
You can use a crafting table (campfire, bench, anvil, etc.) when it is under a roof
Increased the resource gain

Update 2

Thank you everyone for all the feedback, I read all of them and you make a huge difference in the game!

You can now hold left click to attack; no more spamming!
The mage NPC will now come right after you have discovered the first runestone. You will be able to learn spells very early
The dialogue will not show unavailable options (for example, if you don't have enough gold or happiness)
Enemies will not have new sounds
All weapons effect and hits now have custom sounds depending on the weapon in hand
Fixed the light issue to the ocean
Performance gain
Fixed the cursor constant icon switch
You can now destroy interactive objects like workbench and fire camp
Slightly decrease the enemy spawn frequency
Greatly increase the materials for cutting a tree and mining rocks
Greatly increase the density of the forest
Notification when a new NPC arrives in town
Zooming while in the map will no longer change the zoom in the game.

Performance update and tweaks

Greatly increase the fps in general
Reduced the performance hit spike while the player is moving
You can now press F11 to see your FPS and average.
