Patch Notes v 2.0
General
Improved visuals. This causes the game to now use a loading screen. The first level loaded at the start of a new game session will take longer than the others (the loading may appear to freeze, but that is normal).
Improved speed buttons.
Changed tower stats visuals at the end of the game to a list (instead of displaying your tower cards).
Separated control panel from settings, added separate button.
Levels Added 5 new maps and reworked the Mountain Pass level. Stars required to unlock levels are changed to reflect this. Reworked the Mountain Pass level, should no longer be insanely difficult.
Factions Warlock Bonus reworked. Now gives +1/2/3 to all DoT triggered for each Warlock in play. Explanation: If a tower deals 3 DoT normally it would trigger 1 damage 3 times. With +1 DoT trigger it will trigger 2 damage (1 base+1 bonus) then 1 damage (1 base + 0 bonus, because no remainder) for a total of the 3 damage.
Common Swamp Hut: No longer slows. Changed attack speed scaling from 6/6/6 to 6/9/14. Dark Knights: Changed attack speed scaling from 2/2/4 to 2/4/6.
Rare Thieves Guild: Changed attack speed scaling from 4/5/6 to 6/8/10. Forest Ruins: Attack speed scaling 3/3/3 to 3/4/5. Damage scaling 2/3/5 to 3/5/9. Flamethrower: Changed attack speed scaling from 2/2/2 to 2/3/4. Tar Pit: Changed effect scaling from 50/60/70 to 50/60/80. Plague Totem: Changed damage scaling from 1/2/3 to 1/2/4. Reptan Fight Pits: Changed attack speed scaling from 2/3/4 to 2/4/6
Epic Elven Warglaives: Changed damage scaling from 3/4/5 to 3/5/8.
Legendary Heart of the Forest: Changed damage scaling from 2/4/6 to 4/8/10. Gattling Crossbows: Changed damage scaling from 5/5/7 to 3/4/5. Reptan Hive: Changed attack speed scaling from 2/3/4 to 2/2/2. Damage scaling from 5/5/5 to 8/12/15.
Items Items have been changed to make them more engaging and interesting. Visual overhaul.
New Items Replaced Dark Force with Impending Darkness: Giving +1 dot triggers. Added Tax Policy: Interest cap +1. Added Mountain Lords: Dwarves deals +30% damage if gaining maximum interest. Added Venomclaw: Reptans has a 10% chance to deal double damage to enemies with a DoT. Added Throwing Dagger: Assassins has a 10% chance to throw a piercing dagger dealing 1 damage. Added Walking Bomb: DoT has a 10% chance on kill to unleash the remaining DoT as AoE damage. Added Explosive Hits: Siegeworks has a 10% chance to create an AoE dealing 1 damage on hit. Added Whirlwind: Infantry has a 10% chance on attack to summon a whirlwind dealing AoE damage. Added Arcane Echo: Magic towers has a 10% chance to attack twice.
Reworked Overcharge: Proc chance changed from 10% to 30%. Rupture: Old effect: Crits apply a DoT dealing 3 damage. New effect: Crits have a 30% chance to apply a DoT dealing equal damage. Reptan Reflexes renamed to Reptan Rage and effect is changed from 30% to 15% attack speed. Shared Secrets: Changed from rare to epic. Haste: Changed from rare to epic. Deadly Strikes: Changed from rare to epic. Renamed Walking Bomb to Living Curse.
Bugs Shop rarity chances should now work properly (was giving common cards instead of rares). Tower stats should no longer display ugly decimals (ex. 7.00). Clicking the settings button will now pause the game.

Major
Stronghold and Champion factions added to the game.
Overhauled the Warlock faction and DoT damage system.
Siegeworks faction bonus now grants damage buff to all towers.
Infantry faction bonus now goes up to 6 in play.
Assassin faction bonus now starts at 2. All Assassins still start with 10% crit chance.
"Dwarven War Fort" a (Dwarf - Champion) Rare tower.

Tower Changes
Ironguard Barracks is now also a Stronghold.
Elven City is now also a Stronghold.
Reptan Hive is now also a Stronghold.
Castle (formerly known as Stronghold) is now a Stronghold replacing Siegework.
Watch Post's attack speed is now 3/4/6 and tier 3 damage is buffed to 6.
Swamp Hut now always slows and its damage has been increased to 1/4/9.
Mining Camp is now common and yields gold every 3/3/2 waves. Updated card description with missing information.
Cultist's Shrine is now rare and deals 10/10/15 damage, attack speed is 2/3/4 and range is 3/3/3.
Peasant Village now deals 6/11/18 damage and is Rare.
Forest Ruins is now Rare and deals 2/3/5 damage.
Forest Ambusher is now Common and deals 3/7/14 damage.
Elven Warglaives is now Epic.
Items
Added item "Deadly Strikes", making enemies take more damage for every Assassin in play.
Buffed "Odds and Ends" to give 2 gold discounts to item rerolling (was 1).
Removed item: "Artifact Collection" (to focus item rerolling on Odds and Ends).
Removed item: "Heavy Weapons" (now the Siegeworks faction bonus)
Misc
Steam Screenshots (F12) now works in the game.
Made minor changes to enemies health and speed stats, and enemies no longer decrease their animation speed while slowed.
New graphic for indicating where enemies come from.
Decreased audio of arrow volleys and ambience of swamp levels.
Minor visual and audio improvements.

Fixed a bug causing the Retry/Endless buttons to not show properly.
Fixed a bug not giving Level Stars properly.
Fixed a bug causing Rare towers not to appear correctly after LVL 8.

Update 1.0.5 of Broken Banners features exciting new content and targets issues you, the players have brought to our attention.
Features
The Revenant, a brand new, powerful enemy
6 New Items, such as "Execute" allowing Infantry to instantly kill enemies below 15% HP
Additional balancing to towers and waves
Waves now has more variety with strong single enemies and multiple weak enemies

A new visual scaling method which should improve image quality (feedback needed).
In windowed mode, you can now draw the corners of the screen to scale the game to your need.
Fixed a bug with toggling damage numbers.

The Siegework faction bonus now shows the correct tooltip.
Made small changes to waves.
Improved tower's tier 2 and 3 for most towers.

Regarding the Infantry faction bonus: Some of you have given feedback of this bonus not working properly. I would like to assure you that it is working as intended. Damage numbers are rounded to not clutter the screen, so this bonus is most noticable on higher damage towers.
This update was done quickly to get important issues fixed, there will be more updates with fixes to less pressing issues. We are very excited to hear all the positive feedback from you all, and we will continue to improve the game based on your feedback!
