(-) New Content:

* New System Operational! Nibbler's Shop:
The Shop UI is now working and ready for testing! Press on "Resume Game" to get to the end of the build to test the Shop UI.
Since this UI will be used for all in-game merchants, we'll appreciate your feedback on it.



(-) Additional Changes:

* A splash screen now players when activating the game, showing our company logo and controller recommendation.
* Attaching a controller will now update the input icons to show the relevant controller input.
* Shop UI has controller support.

Below you will find the full list of the latest content, updates and bug fixes to the Kickstarter Early Access Patch Notes 28.11.16:





(-) New Content:

  • New System Operational: Weapon Locker! Buck can change his loadout by visiting his home using his very own weapon locker. This feature
    will become more and more relevant once additional weapons are added.


    (DEVELOPER NOTES: We're still in the process of implementing this
    system, additional sounds and weapons will be added in the near future).


  • New System Operational: Elevators! Elevators can be activated in the Junkyard and Gutless levels.

  • New System Operational: Nibbler's Shop! Buck can now trade scraps with Nibbler for basic items (coming next week).


    (DEVELOPER NOTES: This feature will be expanded upon next build and has been implemented for testing).

  • New UI Feature: Interaction Icons. All text messages from world interactions (Loot, Talk, Fast-Travel etc') have been replaced with unique
    Icons to allow for a more immersive UI experience.





(-) Gameplay:

  • All enemy encounters have been re-adjusted to allow for an easier introduction to the game.
  • All enemies can now be knocked up with certain attacks.
  • All enemies have received more variation in movement speed.
  • All enemies have revived additional Health Point. Bandit HP is now 175 (was 125) Hyena HP is now 275 (Was 200) Chargers HP is now 375 (was 300) Marauder HP is now 400 (was 375)
  • Pistols can now hold 12 rounds and fire 2 shots per attack.
  • Pistols damage has been reduced to 30 down from 35
  • Double-Barrel Shotgun damage has been reduced to 40 down from 50
  • Buck has received the following new animations:
  • land in place
  • land and roll forward
  • uppercut punch

  • Buck's Guzzler combo is now faster and easier to execute. (see tips & combos page in the pause menu for a full list of combos).
  • Journal Entries have been simplified to make mission objectives much clearer.
  • Some backer pets are making their way into the game. Can you spot 'em all?
  • Enemies and loot caches drop additional ammunition to make up for the increase in HP and decrees in weapon damage.
  • Nibbler's shop design in-game has been updated to look more like an actual shop.

(-) Dialogues:

  • Mug's first dialogue with Buck has been completely re-written to add more interactive choices for the player. (Expect more changes likes this in the near future).


(-) UI Changes:

  • Buck's Main HUD has received additional visual polish.
  • Inventory UI has received additional visual polish.
  • Loot UI has received additional visual polish.
  • Pause Menu has received additional visual polish.
  • Main Menu Screen has received additional visual polish.
  • Grit's speaking logo at the bottom right of the screen has been updated to fit his activation Icon.
  • A new black and white effect will now trigger every time Grit Narrates.

  • The "Combos" section in the pause menu has been renamed to "Tips & Combos" and will now display all in-game tips for controlling and interacting with the game along side a list for all available combos.

  • When a battle ends, all enemies will display their "Loot" icon for a short period of time. Walking over enemies with loot will prompt the icon again. (Developer Notes: This should fix an issue players encountered when attempting to loot enemies hidden behind foreground objects).
  • All in-game text should now look crisp and clean.
  • Changing any default key-binding on keyboard will now automatically update the in-game input display accordingly.

Kickstarter Early Access Hotfixes & Public Demo Update.

The following Hotfixes have been made to the Kickstarter Early Access Build:

(-) Fixed an issue where some enemies would get stuck behind an invisible wall at the Road to the Junkyard level.

(-) Fixed an issue where an invisible wall would block players progress in The Junkyard.

The Public demo has just been updated to better reflect the current state of the game. Whenever we reach a certain milestone in development, we'll update the public demo shortly thereafter.

Public Demo Update:
(-) New System Operational: Combat Items: Buck can now equip up to two healing items of any kind in his inventory. Hold "USE" (Default F) to move items around the inventory.
When the inventory is closed, pressing F will consume the first item slot.
(-) New UI Feature: Scrollable Map - Buck's fast-travel map has received visual upgrades and navigation functionality. Locations will now visually unlock on your map.
(-) New UI Element: Loot Scroll - Any item you loot in the game will appear at the bottom left of the screen.

Gameplay Tweaks and Fixes:

- Marauders no longer stagger when hit by normal damage and will continue to advance towards Buck.
- Certain ladders and walls were re-adjusted to prevent falling off the level
- Nearly all loot caches now drop twice as much ammunition and healing items.
- Buck should feel a bit better to control in the air and while turning.
- Certain melee attacks deal increased damage and have faster animations.

Audio:
- Certain sound effects like wind and rain were lowered.

Kickstarter Early Access Patch Notes

This patch is made available exclusively for all our Kickstarter Backers who backed for an Early Alpha Reward.
