Started a YouTube channel where I post a video every Monday talking about my games, new projects, creative process, life, and MORE. Check it!

New videos about the making of 'the static speaks my name'

For those who are interested, I've just started a YouTube channel. Some of my first videos dive into the creation of the static speaks my name. In one video, I talk about the development and release of the game. In another, I show the prototype for the game that was created as part of a 48 hour game jam.

Not much more to say than that!

Check it out, and if you like the game, take a look at the in-game audio commentary about the making of the game. I recorded it yesterday and I think it turned out pretty well. In a few weeks I'm going to update the in-game commentary to answer questions from players, so if you have anything you want answered, post it here or email me at thewhalehusband@gmail.com.

We've already fixed a few small bugs that a couple players encountered, and we're going to be aggressive about fixing anything else that comes up, so if you have issues, let us know.

Three weeks to launch!

We're currently finishing up the last bits of the game - putting in final art, audio, music, achievements, trading cards, etc. After that we're going to be bug testing and sending out to press in the hopes we can get the game covered. My programmer and I have been working on this game for a year and a half, so we're super excited to finally be releasing!
