Bugs Must Die

A Small Text Saying "Trial Version"

Hi, gamers:

One thing we noticed is that it shows a small text saying "trial version" in the bottom right corner of the screen. It's caused by the version of Unity. We will fix it in an update after the release.

Thanks and enjoy the game:)

Waiting for the pass by Steam

Dear gamers:

Here is the news for the launch.

1. I'm making a new launch trailer 😉

2. Our build is still in the review queue.🤔So there is a risk of delay to the launch.

Let's wait for the approval by Steam. 🚕

Why we changed the type of "Controller Support" to Partial controller support?

Some gamers reported that controllers work well during the battles, but they need to use a mouse to select menus correctly in the base.

After testing this function, we notice it's not easy to fix before the launch. So we immediately changed the type of "Controller Support" from Full controller support to Partial controller support.

We hope "Partial controller support " will not hurt your gameplay experience of Bugs Must Die. Because we plan to port Bugs Must Die to consoles, we will try our best to fix this problem.

Thank you for your understanding.

The Launch Day Postponed

Hello, gamers!

Thank you for playing the final demo of Bugs Must Die and sharing your gameplay videos with others. We hope you enjoyed our game. For those yet to play it, it's not too late!

The original launch date was Jan 31st. And we are eager to launch the full game on time. However, in order to bring you a final version that we are satisfied with, we need more time to polish and balance it. So we have decided to postpone the launch day to this March, with the exact day TBC.

You can follow our twitter @dgGamesWorkshop and check out our Steam page for the latest updates.

Bugs Must Die: Final Demo Features

Hey, gamers!

We received so much positive feedback from you all after releasing our first demo. Thank you for taking the time to play and provide us with feedback. We are happy to announce the final demo is now ready to keep you satiated till we launch the full game.

There are three essential improvements in this demo.

1. We added two new tutorials and optimized the weapon-switching system
The primary training and the advanced training will help you pick up the game quickly. You can now pause the game, switch the main weapons and sub-weapons calmly through the new weapon-switching system during battles.

2. You can restore your vehicle one time after it is destroyed. To do or not to do, it's your choice.

3. You can receive rewards by completing the objectives in each level. Some of the rewards are temporary, but these powerful rewards will bring you different experiences in Bugs Must Die.

In addition, we have unlocked two new modes for you to try your hand at. The hell mode is like a dungeon mode, which you explore by driving your vehicle. Although the hell mode is not perfect in this demo, we have found a way to make it more attractive in the full version. There’s even a possibility that the hell mode could become its own standalone title in the future!

We hope you could enjoy this demo, stream it, or share it with your friends. We are hoping to reach 50,000 wishlists before Dec 20th. If we achieve the goal, we will launch the full game this December.

Thanks and best regards

Bugs Must Die Brings Back Sweet Memories Of The Arcade Age

Hey everyone:

We are so excited to bring "Bugs Must Die", a modern retro top-down shooter, to you.

Some of our fans have played Demo 1.0.0
and they do love this game. So we hope you could enjoy the game and recall the fun to play an arcade-style shooter during your childhood.

We will skip the Early Access Stage because we don't want players to pay for an imperfect game. The full game will be launched this Nov or Dec.
