New Shovel Tool In The Beta Branch
Hello!

We have a new beta build up with the new shovel/terraforming tool. This is a big improvement over the old system and allows for exact terrain manipulation with a draggable cube. Check it out in the Beta Branch of Buildanauts.

Additionally, We are aware of a bug with the trailer tool where the Tool Belt button is unselectable after equipping the trailer tool. You have to press [TAB].

Version 1.2.4.5 is now live!

Version 1.2.1.0 is now live!

This version has a new system in place to provide faster Save/Load times.

Unfortunately, this means that your older save files are no longer compatible.

IMPORTANT


If any issues occur once the update is complete try to clear out the SaveData and ActiveData folders located in your Buildanauts/GameData directory.

Hello Everyone,

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who is supporting our game. We encourage you to share feedback to help guide our game development.

We recently uploaded a beta build that should improve the saving and loading for everybody. Hopefully this helps! Our plan is to publish the build as soon as it is approved by our QA team.

In the meantime, feel free to try the new (beta) build from the beta-beta branch:
1. Right-Click on the Buildanauts application.
2. Select Properties and click on the BETAS tab.
3. Choose ‘beta-beta branch’ from the drop-down feature.
4. Close the Properties window.
5. Notice the Buildanauts application will update to the new build.

If you want to revert to the default build, navigate back to the BETAS tab and choose 'NONE-opt out of all beta programs'.

WARNING: The beta build is still a work in progress and could corrupt your existing saved data. This is due to the rapid game development.

Buildanauts Stuck At 50% Loading Fix
If your initial loading screen is stuck, usually around 50%, please disable real- time protection in Windows Defender or your Anti Virus software. This should fix issues with it not loading.
