Fixes


  • Jumping in the air while falling is no longer possible.
  • Dying while using mortar will correctly put you in spawn menu.
  • Tanks now always play shoot animation and projectile explosion.

  • G43 and Garand headshot damage increased significantly.
  • Plane maneuverability adjusted.
  • Buildables have decay.

1.12 Test session interrupted

Hi!

We found two big bugs that affected performance and because of that we took servers down. We are scheduling new event tomorrow where those bugs are fixed!

Hello community


Another month gone by with a few test sessions on the front lines.
Tomorrow it's time to shave off your Movembers and prepare for some serious combat action, so look sharp and drive fear into your enemies hearts!


Below is the changelog for next test session:


Plane


-Steering completely controlled with mouse and camera angle changes on sharp turns, giving you a better perspective what is going around your plane.
Suggested by community member: kraken_07_ AKA POUTINE

Tanks


-Camera stabilizer (crosshair wont be bouncing on every bump)
-Hitbox added for turret collision (was missing)

Infantry


-Life regeneration kicks in after 15 seconds of not taking any damage and heals player for 10hp/second.
-Helmets will block % of damage instead of negate full damage on hit.
-Added sound to helmet impacts
-Added camera shoulder switching (default key: Caps lock)
-Added minor camera shake to walking
-Adjusted camera height for better usage in buildings and bunkers
-Adjusted camera distance, now closer to character
-Characters have close quarters animation to aiming if your target is next to you

Weapons & kits


-Sniper head shots now kill instantly
-removed "autofire" mechanic from semiautos (previously could hold down mouse1 to autofire)
-Ammobox, medkit and mines are now dropped instantly on equip
-Added proper pistol for germans
-Fixed bazooka hitting player on shoot
-Flamethrower tweaked

Buildables


-New sandbag model providing better cover
-Barbed wire fence, spawn 5 at a time
-Tank traps spawnd in clusters of 3
-Bunkers disabled for redesign

Game mode


-Pushit has a victory condition
-Map restart when game ends
-Scoreboards have proper player names (used to have pc names)
-Building walls take damage from other than explosive sources
-Score are now grouped by type, rather than all scores being independent (damage numbers shouldn't flood your screen)
-Added new score types

First of all we want to thank everyone who participated on 24:th of November test session, we got lots of feedback & suggestions!

Why feedback and suggestions are important?


Well here is a good example:
Our community member kraken_07_ AKA POUTINE gave feedback and followed up by a suggestion on how to improve flying experience and make it fun.
We implemented, tested and everyone will see the feature in 1:st of December test session!

Work work and more work


This week we have been doing a lot of improvements and by a lot i mean A LOT.
Improved flying, improved vehicles, reworked buildables... and maybe something related to snipers!

Work work



We have been busy bees here on our game, fixing, improving and planning for new features!
Thanks to our great community in test sessions, we managed to find out new nasty bugs and thanks to feedback we're improving some things for our next test session!

Changes:



  • Fixed hit indicators showing wrong directions
  • Fixed bullets could spawn on other side of an object (walls, sandbags)
  • Fixed ammo count not showing correctly
  • Added hearbeat sound when taking damage
  • Added hurt sound for fall damage
  • Added Hitmarkers on crosshair when hitting players
  • Added proper main gun particle and screen shake for tanks
  • Added screenshake for tanks when they take damage
  • Added 1.2s cooldown on jump mechanic
  • Added accuracy penalty while jumping
  • Increased pistol fire rate
  • Increased Carbine fire rate
  • Sherman tank texture updates

New features



  • Team mates can now be seen through walls and obstacles. (tanks will receive same feature a bit later and the outlines will be improved)
  • Tanks will get "spot" mechanic later on and maybe infantry aswell.

Hello BULLETGROUNDS community!



We're hard at work with the game to ensure a smooth gameplay somewhere around december.
Here is a list of major issues that we have patched up all thanks to our testers.

Performance improvements



  • LOD updates for performance
  • Particle effects caused performance issues
  • network replication improvements


Vehicles



  • Leaving vehicles made player fall through ground sometimes (fixed)
  • Plane wing collision fixed


Infantry



  • Flamethrower bugs fixed
  • Mortar usage fixes (sometimes players using mortars didn't die while using it)
  • Prone mechanic only usable while machine gun is equipped
  • Germans now use proper SMG


Quality of life and misc.



  • respawn timer added on death
  • Added more keybind options
  • missing weapon icons added
  • Added hit indicators for infantry, tanks and planes (easier to see where u're being shot from)

BULLETGROUNDS has entered a closed test stage and is scheduled to be open for everyone in december (date TBA).
