here goes another update. This took quiete a bit of time due to a lot of Unity issues I had to deal with. Anyway I'm happy to tell you that I finally added a new map to BAM Royale.
The map has been a lot of fun in testing and also features 4 vehicles and some other interesting places and mechanics.
The new map will also become available in some other game modes once it has been proven to not have major issues.
Changes
Added new map br_apoc_island
Added ability to protect servers with PIN
Team Deathmatch is now All Chat again
Updated to a more recent Unity version
Ability to host games with odd number now (used to be an increment by 2)
Replaced AA12 model with a better looking one
Fixed an issue that potentially made the game stuck after map change

What you think about the All Chat vs. Proximity Chat situation? This update reverted Team Deathmatch back to All Chat as it used to be. Do you guys prefer this? What you think about a combination of All Chat and Proximity Chat that switches back and forth automatically based on distance without needing to use the radio at all?

Attempt to fix vehicles respawning in weird positions and rotations
Attempt to fix bouncy vehicles at initial map load/map restart (still seems to happen sometimes but will look into it again)
Fixed a weird issue when scope was suddenly capturing scene in a weird angle
Fixed inaccurate dust cover behaviour for Mk18 and M16
Attempt to fix round restart hiccups for BAM Royale and Virus Infection
Removed nearby check for vehicles to avoid people camp those in unreachable areas
Fixed an issue when vehicles collided with content in inventory and made them behave in weird ways (i.e. suddently stop or flip)
So if you change map to Virus Infection or BAM Royale and it takes a moment longer for the round to start thats because the game waits for people to load in.

Update 51
Here goes another update! Took me longer than I wanted but had to fight with some Unity issues (also the reason why the update size is so huge; had to reimport a bunch of stuff).
The most important change is the addition of proximity chat to the team based modes. Concluding that you will need to use the radio to talk to distant people on the server or your team. You can toggle between "ALL CHAT" and "TEAM CHAT" by pressing the touchpad/stick in while holding the radio.
General
Added proximity chat for BAM Royale, Virus, Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag (use radio to talk to all people or to your team; toggle using touchpad)
Added new weapon VSS
Added new weapon AS VAL
Aiming upwards should not reverse movement anymore (Touchpad)
Added an experimental option to use Grip button to grab weapons (enable in Controls, Page 3)

Car should deaccelerate without any driver (instead of going on until it despawns)
Helicopters and cars allow for roadkills now
Added mirror to the car
Car also takes damage on impact (two cars colliding can make them explode)
Virus Infection
Fences in industrial are climbable
Fixed possible exploits in sandstorm, concrete_jungle and industrial
Infecting a player only adds 30 seconds to the round time instead of doing a full round time reset
Capture the Flag
Flags (CTF) are now highlighted by a light beam
Position of flag held by a player will now be visualized every 10 seconds
BAM Royale
Most loot spawns have been moved to the inside
Singleplayer modes
Added some reverb effect to some scenes
Last shot will now be visualized in Indoor Range (should be easier to practice that way)
Scene Editor
Added helicopter and car to the Scene Editor
Added popup target (as seen in the tutorial) to the interactive target category
Please let me know how this works for you. I have been testing the proximity chat and the radio with some people a lot and I really like it. It allows for a very new way of communicating with your team and is super helpful in all the team based modes. Give it some time before you judge it though.
Also let me know what you think about the new spawn locations in the BAM Royale map. Does it help? Should I consider to rework the spawn system completely and make it spawn weapon + magazines nearby? What would you guys enjoy the most? I'm willing to do that ;)
So what is the next step? Obviously I'm still working on the new map and I will be able to prioritize on this even more now. Furthermore I will try to also play around with teams i.e. Duos already. Not sure how long any of this is going to take but I will keep you guys updated.

Hey guys,
here goes another update :)
Changes
Extended Indoor Range to 200 meters
Made important changes to support stats very soon
Fixed an issue that did not allow you to pull ammunition in some situations
Further performance optimizations
Got rid of the menu button to toggle locomotion on/off (Game automatically detects the controller now; you can force it to a specific controller in Locomotion settings)
Added an option to disable haptic feedback for the most parts of the game (See Controls, Page 3)
Added an option to disable real-time lights (see Video Settings)
You now beecome a ghost at the position of death instead of needing to go through the loadout room first (BAM Royale)
Fixed an issue when using bipod + auto grab bolt
Added distances to game log for own kills
Reduced Virus Infection time to 2 minutes (used to be 3 minutes)
Lots of other tiny fixes and improvements
Whats next? I will try to get rid of a lot of unused and unecessary stuff (especially map) because the game size has become way too big over time. Furthermore I will look into the proximity chat stuff and see what other nice changes I can make. Furthermore I hope that the stats can go live soon once they have been proven stable.

Some fixes and minimap
Hey, I just published an update to fix some stuff that has been found (espeically the corrupted colliders in Redox). Also heard reports of people who got lost in the forest and other regions of the map now. So I added a minimap to the game:
Changes
Added minimap (only available in BAM Royale)
Fixed corrupted colliders in map called Redox
Reduced health for Air Drop Crates (using the knife is still the right way to do it but maybe this helps people who cannot figure out any other way to open it at least)
Attempt to improve some haptics when changing fire modes
Fixed an issue that did not render special characters in player names
Fixed ammunition highlight showing up on shotgun shells when you could not make any use of them
Renamed "Gamepad" locomotion to "Emulated Input"
Please only use the Gamepad locomotion (now called "Emulated Input") if you are using a Treadmill. Thats the only reason why it exists and it might not work correctly without such a device.
Also sorry for the update size but I had to re-bake some stuff in Redox to make it work again.
Anyway I hope you can make good use of this improvements. Looking for your feedback. Keep it coming :)

Circle closing in speed (especially in late game) should be a lot more fair

You can now hold multiple attachments per bubble (only the small attachments like sights)
Fixed an issue that allowed a tactical reload for a holstered weapon

Improvements for BAM Royale (Update 48)

I finally got another update ready for you. Took me a bit longer than I expected but I hopefully managed to make a lot of good improvements and changes.

BAM Royale
Lots of performance improvements
Current BAM Royale map has been improved a lot by the author mrtokyo and is now called br_mrtokyos_island
Ability to pull chute early has been disabled
The knife will spawn with a delay of ~6 seconds after you hit the ground (all people receive the knife at the same time though)
Improved some collision volumes for some buildings to prevent objects passing through geometry
Tried to reward winning player a bit more
Attempt to fix an issue when grenades have been reset instead of exploding
Added canted rail attachment to the lootable attachments
BAM Royale - Spectating Mode
Added names above lines (possible to toggle on/off)
Fixed an issue when players spawned into spectating mode instead of the game world
Using your other controller touchpad you can now change your size (up/down) and change between players (left/right)
Inventory is now disabled when spectating
Added ability to change speed
Normalized speed for all scales
Fixed some other weird and annoying stuff
General
Fixed trigger inconsistency on all open bolt guns
Falling from a higher distance (i.e. freefall in BAM Royale) is now showing players in a prone position
Magazines show the number of rounds left while holding them
You can now press and hold(!) the magazine release button and grab the magazine out of the gun (easier than trying to catch it)
Reduced amount of fall damage and increased the threshold when it is applied
Lots of other tiny fixes
The next thing I will improve is the ability to mute players, change voice volume, mute yourself and so on. Especially considering that now that we got a permanent death mode an ability to make those changes at any time is needed more than ever.
I know that you guys also requested even more stuff like proximity chat, teaming up, vehicles, a more high quality map to just name a few. All this and a lot of other requests are already on my list and will be worked on, of course.
For now I think the improvements made to the BAM Royale map are making a huge difference already. Mrtokyo really has done a great job. Beside changed geometry he also added some more spawns for loot that sums the total number of objects you can find in a round to slightly over 500 objects.
Definitely check it out. However a completely new map is already in the work as well. This takes a lot of time though.
However you are all be heard and I really appreciate all your feedback and your support. Please keep it coming!

BAM Royale (Update 47)
Hey guys,
I'm very happy to announce that I got another update for you. Could be called Update 47 but I guess BAM Royale Update sounds a bit better. This new mode has already been available via the beta branch but it is splitting the community in two different versions of the game and since it is very stable and playable already I figured it can and should go public just now. I will iterate on it a lot more so there might be some more updates within the next days.
Please note that the initial map loading time for this mode is a bit longer because I'm also experimenting with a feature to download the map from my server. I will make it a built-in map soon to reduce this overhead. Just don't be confused when it takes a bit longer to load in for this mode. It's gonna be fine.
Of course, I also want to add the vehicles that are already features in other maps to this mode but I want to test this a bit more.
Definitely recommend to give the new game mode some tries. You might also appreciate the awesome views you can get as a spectator!
