We are still in the process of creating the main story content. It goes rather well and we are expecting to deliver the rest of the storyline this summer.
In the meantime, we have prepared a smaller update containing decorative items for your bum bases. It will go live on 07/01/2022.
Hopefully, this will sweeten the waiting time :)

Update 2.4.29.a and VR news
The update to 2.4.29.a is now live, featuring:

  • Additional Mr. Jello sidequests
  • Additional W. East sidequests
  • Improved Korean and Chinese font support


The next update is on its way - it will contain new craftable items for your bum lair.

Last but not least, we're excited to announce that work on Bum Simulator VR has begun! Our friends at Ignibit are doing a fantastic job porting the game to virtual reality:

Next Update 29.04.2022
It took us a while, but we are back on track - additional sidequests will be added to the game on 29.04.2022. Another update that contains more base-building items should come soon after that, so stay tuned!

The second hotfix is here!


  • Added Blue Mold Seed recipe to the workbench
  • Fixed a bug that caused planted tobacco to load incorrectly
  • Adjusted the amount of Bear Garlic you get from harvesting your planted crop
  • Fixed a bug that caused you to enter building mode when exiting the chest inventory screen
  • Fixed the voice of the bug who guards your pigeon in the "Bird Cage" quest
  • Showing the middle finger targets people in a cone area now, so you don't have to put your crosshair exactly on the target
  • Fixed the appearance and placement of the cardboard used when begging
  • Fixed the cloth physics of the player sleeve while begging
  • Fixed a bug that caused bugs to lay dead even if they were still alive
  • Fixed a missing quest marker during the "Lady Justice" quest
  • Fixed a bug that stopped the tracking of the "Respect Among Creeps" quest if you did a side quest while on this mission
  • Carl now drops any unconscious body placed on top of him when the "Let Me Hook You Up" quest starts, to make sure the timer is visible

The first hotfix is here!
We are actively collecting your feedback both from Steam and our Discord server. We read every suggestion and report we get. Thank you for your input and support - we couldn't ask for a better fanbase!

List of changes:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented you from stacking items in Carl when the inventory was full,
  • Fixed a bug that caused food to drop to the ground when bought from vendors,
  • Fixed a bug that caused the alchemy station window to stay in-game permanently,
  • Fixed gamepad button binding in the pigeon outfit window,
  • Fixed a bug that caused highlight on the building object to stay in-game after exiting the building region,
  • Fixed a bug that caused particle effects and pigeons to stay in-game after Guano Collector finished the production process,
  • Fixed a bug that caused Guano Collectors to load incorrectly,
  • Fixed a bug that caused Bum Shelter to load incorrectly,
  • Fixed the scaling of the central panel in the chest inventory window,
  • Added coloring of the item name in the chest inventory window,
  • Fixed a bug that caused harvesting the Four-Leaf-Clover to drop seeds instead of the clover itself,
  • Fixed a bug that duplicated items harvested from the flower pots
  • Fixed a bug that caused the building region border indicator to stay in-game after exiting the build mode.
