Bunny Hop v1.3 Endless Mode

It's almost been a year since the release of Bunny Hop. It has been more work than I imagined it would be but it just makes pressing the "publish" button more satisfying. This game has also been more successful than I ever expected and there are still people playing it without me promoting it. It makes me think I should promote it more but I'm also just thankful that people genuinely like the game enough to play it on their own accord. Here's what's new in Bunny Hop v1.3 Endless Mode Update.

Bunny Hop v1.3 Features

  • Pressing ESC to pause the game actually pauses time
  • Previous Leaderboards have been solidified. You may still view them under "Season 1" leaderboards tab
  • Fresh Leaderboard has been added to make it fair with new pause mechanic
  • Added new animated Aura skin, usable in Story Mode and Endless Mode
  • Some music is more quiet
  • Fixed collecting tulips achievement bug
  • New selection highlight on main menu
  • minor main menu UI bug fixes

ENDLESS Mode

<*>Endless Gameplay
<*>See how high you can go without stopping
<*>Procedurally generated platforms
<*>Added Customizable Auras that are visible only after you reach the blackhole
<*>Stardust Currency used to buy new auras
<*>Added a second leaderboard dedicated to Endless Mode

This update symbolizes the endless gratitude I have that this experience has given me and I'll never forget it. There will still be smaller updates in the future but I'm mainly working on other projects and more games that I hope you all will enjoy as well. Thank you to everyone for making this happen! Feel free to reach out on Twitter or Discord if you have bug reports or want to say what's up.

Bunny Hop v1.2 Leaderboard Update!

  • Leaderboards

I'm proud to announce the long awaited leader boards are finally in Bunny Hop! Challenge your friends and players, globally, to see who can get the best high score.
  • Achievements

Unlock Steam achievements by completing tasks, unlocking skins, and exploring. This has been another highly requested feature that adds more satisfaction while playing Bunny Hop.
  • Hidden Area

There is a new hidden area that is dedicated to a couple good friends of mine for how much they supported the development of this game. It may not seem like much but thank you for your support!
  • Minor Bug Patches

There have been a few minor bug fixes, but for the most part I've been focusing on getting the Steam integrated features working properly. I'm still working on a few minor bugs. If you happen to find any bugs for the new features added here, please report this to me and I'll work on it as soon as possible. Thank you!

Remember to share your feedback with me and your bragging rights with the community!

Bunny Hop v1.1 Update

Patch Notes:

  • New Bug Respawn Points

Some players pointed out, when they ran into a bug that made them respawn, they were spawned very far from where they were. I've added many more spawn points so you can use the respawn button without having all of your progress reset.
  • Tutorial More Prominent

Many players never noticed there was a tutorial in the game because it's very brief. I've changed the way you navigate the tutorial by adding a 'continue' button that scrolls through tutorial text. If you want to skip the tutorial, just hop right past the spawn area and the tutorial will close.
  • Music In Credits

The credits had no music for the initial release which felt odd. There is now music in the credits, which match the rest of the game nicely.
  • Added Music Transitions

Instead of a quick cut between music tracks, there is now a 1 second fade-out/fade-in transition between music tracks that adds immersion to your surroundings.
  • Multiple Soft-lock Fixes

There were multiple places where players were getting soft locked, stuck, and falling out of the map. All of these to my knowledge have been fixed. I'm still working on making the sliding platforms work smoother, but you can no longer get stuck on them.
  • A Couple Art Fixes and Additions

  • Christmas Event ended

You may still play as Lepus with the Santa Hat, but you'll have to wait until next year to unlock it again
