Update January 17-th

Balance:
- Increased spawn chance for rare objects
- Fix: Armor for animals
- Fix: Weapons damage
- Fix: damage from crossbow bolts and bow arrows

Visual effects:
- Changed lameness effect

Resources and crafting:
- Fix: Item transfer from player's chests to the NPCs
- Arrows and bolt are now obtainable and have more accurate behavior

Weapons:
- Weapons animations are fixed

Environment and the locations:
- Fix: objects outline disappearance
- Added windmill
- Removed collision for small objects
- Removed floating objects, locations are a loser now
- Improved different forms of feedback(shots hit, step sound and other) for an environment

Construction:
- Fix: weapon crosshair in build mode
- Fix: water does not save when well is upgraded

- Fix: NPC stop fighting when receiving damage during hit reaction animation

Update 12 November 2018

- Added the ability to settle settlers on the base (in certain quests).
- Updated system of events and quests.
- Upgraded NPCs behavior.
- Fixed dialogues.

- Upgraded the main location.
- Reworked environment. Now there are more various items.
- Reworked spawn resources.
- Fixed NPC people and animals spawn.

- Changed notifications: now they are divided into three types - injuries and illnesses (left-upper corner), regular notifications (bottom of the screen), notifications of actions (in the center of the screen above).
- Improved feedback from the actions of players.
- Fixed visual part of injuries and diseases.
- Added new sights for different types of weapons.

Update 11 October 2018

Long time no see! Yes, it's time for another round of updates.
This time there’s been a gap between the updates. This allowed us to change and improve even more things in Burden.

Balance:
- Changed balance of chest drops. Do you smell the lack of resources for survival?
- Improved player's stats balance. Now you’d feel that you need food and water.
- Improved items' weight. Everything is more logical and more convenient now.
- Equipped items won't affect the backpack's weight.
- Modified the resource generator. Balanced resource allocation to remoteness from the base. Get ready to discover the desert more.
- Changed balance of food and medicine.
- Players won't die of hunger or thirst during crafting, loot and construction because the processes are interrupted at critical character's indicators.
- Also, when reaching this critical point, it is impossible to perform any actions that require time.
- Improved diseases and injuries. Now you'll see what specifically affects the disease.

Resources and craft:
- Changed the work of the container system and interaction with objects inside the containers. This has improved performance when interacting with them.
- Added chests with locks.
- Added master keys.

Weapons:
- Fixed minor bugs and added improvements for firearms and handguns.
- Arrows and crossbow bolts are equipped in a separate slot.
- Added the ability to use different types of arrows and crossbow bolts.
- Improved bows and crossbows.
- Fixed various visual bugs.
- Players will see a notification when equipping inappropriate ammo for bows or crossbows.

Map:
- Changed the landscape. Our level designer says that it's been definitely changed, but we haven’t found yet where exactly. No worries, a funeral pyre is being prepared for him.
- Changed some locations.
- Added new chests, loot and weapons on the locations.

Building:
- Added ability to mount roofs to other roofs.
- Added time display when building a module.
- The second trap is now an upgrade for the main trap. It can't be simply built.

Interfaces:
- Changed the diary tab with player's status.
- Redesigned the death screen.
- Fixed the items interface when crafting and repairing.
- Unified loot, sleep and pick windows.
- Interfaces for craft, inventory and object selection are brought to a general view.
- Fixed other interface bugs.

Sounds:
- Added new sounds including receiving a perk, the sounds of the wind, the sounds of passing through the bushes and others.
- Added a soundtrack when receiving a perk.
- Added battle music theme.
- Added sounds when pressing a key for loot, sleep and pick.
- Added sounds for disassembling and improving modules.
 
Other:
- Fixed problem with possible empty dialogs with NPCs.
- Added new types of notifications.
- Fixed other bugs and added improvements!

Update 14 September 2018

- Modified loot and drop systems. Balanced distribution of lootable resources and chests drop. Generation of objects is now more variative.
- Added ability to use resources from chests on the base. Now you don't need to store all the necessary resources in the chest. Just put them on one of the chests on the base and they will be available when construction and/or crafting.
- When starting a new game, players on the base will have a lighthouse, a well, foundation for buildings, and a chest!
- Added an interface for the World Map, the ability to zoom the map and see new markers while discovering new locations.
- Fixed icons for clothes.
- Updated GUI including sleep, loot, inventory. Added a new widget for interaction with chests. And also, added a new cutscene at the end of the game.
- Added ability to speed up time. To do this, press [T] and select the desired time period.
- Re-designed location distribution and changed playing area landscape.
- Fixed other minor bugs.

Update 17 August 2018

We added a map that is currently in test mode. First, only the Base marker is available on the map - and whenever players find new locations, they see new markers on the map. The progress of the found locations is saved along with the rest of the game progress.
There also will be improvements in terms of functionality and visuals.

We added continue button to make the start of a new game and loading the last saved game more obvious.

Bugs with NPC and building are fixed. We made craft, repair and upgrade more convenient. Added ability to upgrade clothes. Added clothes drop from NPC.

ATTENTION!!!
Very important information:
Your previous saves can be lost or work not correctly. Except that saves works perfectly fine.
This happens due to adding a map, saving its progress.

Update 10 August 2018

- Added ability to put on backpacks. Different backpacks allow to carry different weight.
- Added information about how to work with inventory when hovering the mouse over an object.
- Changed the notification system. Now they are displayed at gunpoint.
- Added effects on buildings destruction.
- Changed the crafting window.
- Added ability to fix some items.

- Added critical points. A dream is interrupted when critical points of the stats occur.
- Changed system of injuries. Now you can only get one injury at a time.
- Injuries are given after reaching critical health points.
- Fixed medicines. Now they treat injuries and illnesses and restore health.
- Added chance of poisoning when eating food.
