Features & Quality of Life Improvements
Multiple Fish Baiting
With Multiple Fish Baiting, more than one fish may attempt to bite your bait, making for a more realistic fishing experience.
Time of Day Selection
When choosing a reserve, you will have access to the Time of Day Selection menu. You can select between Any, Morning, Daytime, Evening or Night.
Dev Team’s Note:When playing Online and you select a time of day they would like to play at, the game will do its best to place you at the selected time. If there are no slots available at the selected time then it will place you at the closest previous time slot available.
Example: If you select night time but there are no servers available, you should be placed into the closest slot available which should be Evening.
When playing offline you will always be placed into your selected time of day.
Updated Fish Viewer Screen
The Fish Viewer Screen in the Handbook has been updated to allow you to look at our fish models in full 3D!
Dev Team’s Note: If you go to the handbook, you can now use your mouse or controller to rotate the fish models.
Patch Notes
You will now see a message in the top right of the screen when your game is syncing Time of Day to the server
You will now see a status of online/offline in the top right of the screen to indicate your multiplayer status.
Fixed an issue where the game would occasionally crash when you take out your rod after being respawned in a "safe" location.
And other small, miscellaneous bug fixes and quality of life updates.

Foliage is no longer showing up in places that it has no business being!
When joining a reserve, you will no longer automatically matchmake into a multiplayer session with Multiplayer Matchmaking set to "Off"

We are continuing to monitor our servers to ensure multiplayer experiences are up to par and have made some more tweaks to get us there.
Fixed various crashes. This won’t fix all crashes, though. We are working on another patch to address more.

The spool line will no longer become invisible on certain reels.

Hotfix 1.6.2 is live and fixes several crashes.
We are also investigating server issues that have caused various problems when playing on multiplayer. While the hotfix might alleviate some of these issues, it is still an ongoing investigation.

Dev Team’s Note:Our ever-growing collection of avatar cosmetics needed a new home, and that's exactly what this new tile-based menu is. Now, all your goodies are displayed in full view, making switching styles as easy as a click, without the endless scrolling!
4x4 Storage Upgrade - From now on, your road vehicles double as your traveling inventory. No more detours to the shop, switch up your gear right from your 4x4!
Dev Team’s Note:We’ve heard your feedback and understood that back-and-forth trips to the shop were quite a hassle. So now, whether you want to access storage or swap reserves just head to your trusty 4x4.
Fast Travel to 4x4 - Navigating the reserves has just become a breeze! With this update, you can fast travel right to your spawned 4x4 within a reserve at your whim.
Dev Team’s Note:Have you wandered off too far from your car in pursuit of a collectible or a nice view but don’t fancy a walk back? Just select your 4x4 from your map screen, and whoosh, problem solved!
Content Browser Addition - Now, straight from the main menu, you can effortlessly browse through the game's selection of downloadable content!

Gameplay
We’ve fixed an issue where the bail arm would automatically close during the usage of a lure or jighead spinning rig, blocking the player's bait from sinking.
Fish will no longer spin erratically on the line when reaching the Secure Catch stage.
We’ve addressed an issue with incorrectly placed boats when docking at specific jetties in Norway.
Visual
Swapping between the spinner rod and float rod will no longer cause the rods to clip through the player’s hands.
We’ve fixed an issue where boats could sometimes be found floating above terrain on the Spain Reserve.
The peaks of waves caused by small waterfalls are now correctly moving on the water's surface.
UI
Players can now mouse click through the intro video to skip it instead of pressing Enter.
Audio
We’ve fixed an issue where the audio from a remote player's boat continues for the local player, even after the remote player has exited their boat or left the reserve.

Audio
We’ve fixed a bug with the boat engine audio that would cause it to play continuously in certain instances.
For some time now, there have also been online issues across platforms. We assure you all that we're working hard to understand the cause and swiftly solve this. We want to be transparent that it will take some more time to get these online features back to where they need to be, but we are working to get our servers running properly again as soon as possible.
