If no player or coalition has achieved a regular victory by that time, the player with the most victory points is declared winner. The end time is displayed in the game information within the newspaper and as a countdown on the right side of the screen. This scenario runs on the CoW 1.5 version, with new features and new balancing.

Attention, Generals!
Today’s release brings a reworked version of the impending defeat popup on Dominion maps, an update for the “ranking“ tab in Dominion game rounds and a list of bug fixes to Call of War!
We reworked the popup that appears to inform players on Dominion maps when a defeat is impending, to include information that is more valuable to you than just a list of provinces you have not conquered yet. You will be able to see who meets the victory requirements already and until when you have to prevent the defeat, or the opponents win.
The bug fixes of this release fix an issue with wrong travel times in tooltips, an issue that prevented ranged units from immediately opening fire when moving under certain circumstances, make sure that the AI doesn’t send units on long detours when stepping in for a player and many more.

Capital Rush – New Event
Attention, Generals!
We are very excited to announce a brand-new event for Call of War – Capital Rush!
Capital Rush combines several of the most popular event features of the game and brings them on one of Call of War’s most iconic maps.
In this new event you join a 100-player world map with an activated Point of Interest (POI) feature on which all players fight for themselves. Capital Rush is a free for all without teams or peace periods at the start of the round.
To win this event you will need to conquer 30 POIs! If that wasn’t hard enough already, the POIs on this map are the capitals of your opponents!
The signup for the premier of Capital Rush starts on Thursday, September 2nd 2021 at 11am CEST and ends on Monday, September 6th at 11am CEST.

In this event time can be your biggest ally or your biggest enemy! To win you have to be swift like a Luchs tank! There is no time in battle!

Generals!
In this event you will not know friends nor family: In a 100p map with the ‘anonymous round’ feature enabled and no coalitions you will be pitted against 99 other players in a struggle for survival.
The event maps will start immediately after their creation with random country selection enabled and will run at normal speed. Players are flagged as inactive after 2 days. There is also an AI & human player peace period of 1 real-life day. Additional option this time: 6 week time-box. The game will end after 6 weeks, the player with the highest victory points wins and receives a large gold price.

Attentions, Generals!
Today’s update increases the maximum zoom level on maps and brings some bug fixes to Call of War.
We increased the maximum zoom level on maps, to make sure that you can get an overview of the entire map, when zooming out to the maximum zoom level. This prevents you from having to scroll the map in different directions to see each corner of it.
Today’s bug fixes include issues that prevented some armies from taking damage under certain conditions in combat or defending airplanes dealing too much damage. For a complete overview please check the detailed forum post, or the news section on Discord.

Call of War launched an official Discord server for you to join!
Many of you already use Discord to communicate with friends, your alliance and other fellow generals! There is also a big number of unofficial Call of War Discord servers out there that are run by the community - which is great! Now, we add an official Discord server to the mix, providing a main hub for official news, discussions, help and a place to hang out with other Call of War generals !
The official Call of War server has been on the list of the community team for quite some time, and we are very excited to connect with you and meet the community on Discord!
The Call of War Discord's main purpose is to allow you to connect with each other and us. Find fellow generals for your next game round, seek help from the community and stay in touch wherever you are. Share your feedback with the community and us, or pitch and discuss any amazing idea you might have for the game. Don’t wait even a second to share it there!
The server language will be English for now. We might add additional language sections in the future, in case we notice that they are wanted by the community.

Today’s update does not only fix several bugs and improves the usability of map filters, but also marks the launch of the official Call of War Discord server! You should have no trouble joining, as a dedicated button has been added to the main menu, right next to the existing social media buttons. On mobile devices you’ll find said buttons in the “Community” tab in the “More” menu.
The list of bug fixes include visual adjustments to the recently added arrow heads at the end of movement indicators, which sometimes didn’t perfectly point at the exact destination, but were slightly offset to one side. Rockets flying upside down after they took off have also been fixed.
Last but not least all map filter changes will now be saved when closing the game and be applied the next time you reopen it.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you on the official Call of War Discord server and hearing your feedback for today’s update there. Efficient communication with other generals is just as essential to our mission of continuously improving Call of War as it is to your ambitions on its battlefields.
