Capria's Retirement

Hello everyone -

Unfortunately it looks like we'll have to retire Capria for the time being. One of two developers and a co-creator had to leave the team due to a number of personal issues that prevents him from working on Capria any longer.

For those of you that purchased the game, thank you so much for supporting us during the early stages of development. If there are any of you that actually still play, please shoot us a message and I will do my best to fix any glaring bugs or issues with your version and get you an update. I will also keep your account info to send you free download codes for any future games that we develop.

The project is dead for now, but hopefully we can get a full version completed in the future. Thanks, guys.

Big Update!

We are very excited to release this update. It's been a little while since our last one and we've been tirelessly working to improve the game and include all your suggestions and comments. If it's been awhile since you've played, please get the new version and check it out. We think you'll be very pleased. This update includes:

  • A more powerful wand that casts projectile spells, levitates rocks and teleports you.
  • Improved combat mechanics.
  • More enemy types, including stronger and faster Grawlers that now attack the player and goats.
  • New sound design.
  • Overall visual overhaul (say that three times fast), including new textures, animation, and level design.
  • Many improvements to game performance.

As always, we will continue to deliver updates and improve the game. We've got a lot more exciting stuff planned. Grab the update and let us know what you think!

Teleport Update 5/6/16

We've reworked the teleport mechanic for more freedom of movement:

  • Press and hold 'up' on the thumbpad to begin casting the teleport spell.
  • A cone will appear that marks where you will teleport to.
  • Tilt the wand up or down to move the marker farther or closer.
  • Release the thumpad to initiate the teleport.
  • If the cone is red you will not be able to teleport there.

Please update and let us know what you think of it! We will be polishing it and adding effects in the coming days.

Update 4/22/16

And the updates just keep rollin' in. Here's what we've got for ya this time:

  • Added the ability to visit multiple levels
  • Added new 'Quarry' level
  • Added 'Lumina Forest' level
  • New map system. Point your wand at locations on the world map of Capria to move to different areas.
  • After charging a rock with elemental powers you can now pass the charge to another rock for double the power.
  • Added a shelf in your home for collecting and viewing your Steam Achievement trophies in-game.
  • Updated to Unreal Engine 4.11.2
  • Improvements to UI, lighting, and performace

Tip o' the day: Try 'bowling' rocks at goblins instead of throwing them for a change of pace.

Note: There is currently a bug that takes you to the grey SteamVR default room when loading levels. We are aware of this and are working to remedy it for the next update. This doesn't mean the game has crashed! Give it a few seconds and it will load the next level. Thanks!
