Beta 5 Released
Beta 5 has now been uploaded which is mainly bug fixes but a few additions to enhance the player experience.


  • All title screen options bar define keys, for obvious reasons, can now be selected with the joypad.
  • The intro can be skipped.
  • You can call the quit menu from the joypad with the back button.
  • You can now press escape/back to close the quit menu.
  • Title screen redesigned slightly to show the joypad controls.
  • Various bug fixes.

Beta 4
Beta 4 released.

Bar finding any new major issues, this should be the final beta before release.

Beta 3 Released
Beta 3 ready for download.


  • Teleporters between 2 points to reduce back tracking now in.
  • End credits in.



Game is almost ready to go gold and I anticipate a release earlier than 18/02/2019.

Beta 2
Beta 2 has been uploaded.
Patch notes as below.

Beta 3 coming soon with added quick travel feature.


  • Graphics doors that open re coloured to be the correct shade of black.
  • 1 achievement tweaked to make it more obvious. (no spoiler)
  • Progress stopping bug 2/3 the way through the game resolved.
  • Music bug where in game music over played the end sequence music resolved.
  • Several text issues resolved.
  • Several graphical issues resolved.

First Beta Released
The first beta for Captain MaCaw has been released.



  • Game completable from start to finish.
  • 10 Achievements in.
  • Graphics polished in some areas (as much as you can polish low res speccy graphics!)
  • Instructions, intro and start sequences in


This is now with beta testers to find any outstanding issues but we are very much on target for Feb 18th release date.
