Cardful Planning's big update is finally here!
Hello Everyone!

The big update is finally ready!

With this update, Cardful Planning now has a little over 100 rooms to complete and is now more or less on par with the Switch version!

Here are some of the new additions:

- An extra 50 rooms to complete, including 1 whole new area
- A new ending cutscene to properly end the story
- Some small tweaks to visuals, UI, and gameplay
- New help text for various levels
- Support for triggers and bumpers for using the Heart and Spade abilities
- Separate saves for each game mode

There are a few things to note:

1. If you have any old saves then unfortunately, they will be wiped when you launch the update. Since the content was doubled I just couldn't find a smooth solution for people to be able to continue their old save.
On the positive side though, the game can now keep a separate save for each mode in the game!

2. Scores on the online leaderboards have been adjusted. Now, anyone that completed the game before the update will be shown as only having completed 50% of the game instead of the 100% that it was originally.

New Content Coming
With Cardful Planning having launched on Switch a few weeks ago, I will now be focusing on getting all the new content from the Switch version (about 50 rooms, bringing the room total up to 100) and bringing it into the Steam version.

Changes you can expect when I am finished:

  1. More rooms,
  2. Adjustments made to the high score tables (I will do my best to not delete any scores though),
  3. Clearer tutorial text for various rooms,
  4. An actual end game cutscene for when you complete the game instead of just a game over screen!
  5. And other little tweaks and improvements!

Update Notes for July 26th
Hello Everyone!

A few improvements have been made to make the player and enemy movement a bit smoother.
There was also an issue where the Heart suit Boss would still move after the game was paused, this has now been fixed.

Update Notes for June 22, 2021
Hello Everyone,

Another small update today!

I've now allowed the game window to be resizable! If you have any issues with this then I suggest closing the game and reopening it.

This should help anyone that wants to play the game in windowed mode!
