Later this evening we will be deploying a quick followup to the 3.2 patch, mostly to give the King Crab a more distinct role. We feel this card is really powerful in basically any deck using pirates, and could use a more interesting design. We will be setting recently changed status on this and any other cards we adjust, so if the King Crab no longer fits in your deck you can exchange him for a different legendary!
- KING CRAB: Stats changed to 7/4 and is now classified as a MONSTER.
- ICE BLAST: Cost increased to 5g.
CP To Shard Conversion
Hey everyone, we just wanted to point out that if you were saving CP for crafting purposes before 3.2 you have no reason to be upset. You have the option to spend the CP on card packs at any time you want, and the average value of shards gained from disenchanting a full pack of cards is worth at least as much as the previous crafting values! For example if you have 20,000 CP you wanted to use for a legendary, you can buy 20 card packs right now, disenchant all the cards, craft your legendary, and still have extra cards left over! The patch is a great value for everyone and we hope you all enjoy the new crafting system!
Patch 3.2 Now Live!

Hey everyone, we have a few small updates. First off, we've observed that Tournament mode queue times can be pretty rough at higher win percentages, so we've switched the event schedule to Saturday only tournaments. We've also switched up the event prize table, so log in Saturday to find out what you can win!
We've also tweaked a few basic cards for the following reasons:
GUARDIAN: We realized this is the same card as Berserker, but without the knockback. This was a small oversight making these cards so similar, so we've increased Guardian's HP to 7.
DEMON HUNTER: This card is a little too good at applying damage directly from the hand and simultaneously creating board pressure, so we've reduced its efficacy slightly. Initiative attack and HP were both reduced by 1.

Store Update!
Hey everyone, so we found out that nobody liked the new Shop! In retrospect, offering card bundles at 7 packs and 18 packs was probably silly. Those are silly numbers! So we just pushed a big update, and it's got a few things. First, there are NEW DECKS! That's right 3 new pre-constructed decks, and this time they come with castles too! Second, we've adjusted the pack tiers to use PRETTY NUMBERS. Would you like to buy 10 packs? Maybe 25? Those are pretty numbers, wow! To reduce clutter, we also pulled the Wild Packs from the store for now and are just selling Dragon and Monster packs, and the single Dragon or Monster pack can be bought for CP. Cool! There might be a few other surprises in there too. Take a look!

Patch Notes! July 28th
--- COLLECTION ---
- CP cards packs have been added to the store! You can now buy normal Cards Packs in the shop for 1000 CP! Quests now award card points only to facilitate this change, and the CP/SP exchange rate had to be modified to balance the economy with this addition.
- Tournament rewards have been GREATLY improved! You can now earn 1 card pack guaranteed, in addition to scaling bonus rewards based on win count. Losses allowed is reduced to 2, and tournament price increased to 1500 CP. Overall tournament should be much more rewarding.
--- CARDS ---
SHADOW SLIP: The gold savings on this card scale in a way we did not anticipate, and is simply too potent with certain combos. The cost reduction benefit has been reduced from 3 to 1. Cost reduced to 2.
SUSHI SHACK: Persistent move speed is much stronger than we anticipated in this format and is exceptionally frustrating for enemy players, especially for the reach it gives to freshly played units. We've redesigned this card to be a little more reasonable: 3g, at the start of your turn give a random friendly unit +1 movement.
SOUTHPORT CANNONEER: The stats of this card are misaligned, and slipped through our QA process during beta. It has been corrected: movement reduced to 2, HP reduced to 5.
KNOCKOUT: Attack limitation reduced to 3 to better match its intent as an early-game card.
ETERNAL JUDGEMENT: No longer draws a card. With the reduced HP format, this card is powerful enough already without the card draw.
SUIT OF ARMOR: HP reduced to 9.
PIRATE SHIP: Cost increased to 4.
SPECIAL DELIVERY: Cost increased to 5.
RAGNAR THE MARAUDER: Cost reduced to 4g, stats 2/6, now gains +1/+1 with greed.
--- MECHANICS ---
IMMOBILE: Now counts as both an ability AND a status effect, meaning it cannot be removed by transforming the unit.
FLYING: Can now block other creatures with Flying.
BRIDGE TROLL: Fixed so his gold reduction mechanic works at 1g.
Launch Schedule
Hey everyone, Monster Island will be out on Thursday and that means a midnight-ish release tomorrow night! We wanted to inform players of what to expect when we activate Monster Island.
On Wednesday night at 9 PM PST, the game servers will be taken down for maintenance. We expect this maintenance to last about 1 hour, during which we will be awarding the new BASIC card set to all players. After maintenance is complete, the game will come back up and Monster Island will be out! Players should immediately receive their launch rewards, rank reset, and packs can then be opened! Standard mode will be activated, and Standard mode decks will be required for ranked play. Most cards within the Age of Dragons set have received some sort of change to go along with our improved archetype balance and general gameplay mechanics. There will be NO DETAILED PATCH NOTES because the changes are too extensive for a patch note list to be useful. We'd encourage players to understand the new global mechanics changes (such as knockback and blocking) and take a look at all the cards in their collection after launch. You will need to construct new decks to play Standard mode!
This is a very exciting time, Monster Island is definitely the biggest and best thing we've ever done and we hope everyone is as excited about it finally being released as we are. See you online!
