UI Hotfix


  • Fixed the sentece in the quest completion UI for a failed quest to properly appear on a single line.
  • Fixed the word "Fog" with "Lighting" inside the Setting Menu under the Video Settings.

Hotfix for Wide Screen resolutions

Fixed the problem where with wide screen resolutions the UI didn't show in the correct way.

Update v1.8

The update has minor improvements to UI text:


  • Fonts updated in most part of the UI for a better readability
  • Some fixes to some texts about Tyrant and Weapon Forge
  • Changed the color of some texts for a better readability

Release!

Hello everyone, after a long run the game has been released on both Steam and itch.io.

The release come with a new update with the following additions:


  • A new system: Cataclysms, a Tyrant powerful permanent effect which grows in power as the Weapon Forge grows.
  • Improved graphics and appearence,
  • 4 new Tyrants with all their Rage Spells, their Disciples (with their spells) and their Cataclysms
  • Various bug fixes for rare and uncommon bugs
  • Minor improvements on performance in the combat scene

Cataclysm Update, Release and Improvements

Hello everyone, since last time I worked hard to complete the "Cataclysm Update", in the process I made a lot of additions and improvements, along with fixes to some leftover bug.

It required a lot of work and a lot of time to complete everything, that's why every game channel (steam, facebook, itch.io) seemed "dead", but don't worry everything is ready now and the game is ready for the Release:

1) 4 new Tyrants to fight with all their Rage Spells (12 new spells), Disciples (with their spells for a total of 44 new spells and effects) and Cataclysm

2) The Cataclysm system (I will post some preview of the new system these days, so keep follow all the game channels) which will provide new effects during every quest which will grow in power as the Weapon Forge increases.

3) Graphic improvements (water, reflections, textures, props, particles and so on) both on the World Map and inside Dungeons.

4) Few left over bug fixes:

  • a bug which was preventing to successfuly complete the Corrupting Ritual mission after few
    attempts,
  • a rare bug which causes game freeze under a specific situation,
  • some minor glitches.


5) Some little performance improvements during loading and during combat

This Update is the last before the official release of the game, this means that the Update and the Release are the same thing and they will be available during this week, I'm testing the last additions before the release.

In the following days I will update the store page with new screenshots and a new video, I will make a post with the new additions on every game channel.

IMPORTANT: The release will se an increment in the game price.

Some news on the upcoming update!

Hello everyone, unfortunately because of all the things happening during Christams time, I couldn't publish this update here like i have already done on the Facebook page, so here we are :D

Some update on what I'm working on.

From last update I told you I was working on a new system called Cataclysms, a dynamic power which gets stronger the more Weapon Forge the Tyrant accumulates. The system will be released along with the final 4 Tyrants and this is exactly what I'm working on.

A single Tyrant comes with 1 icon 3 Rage Spells, 1 Cataclysm with different effects (common and peculiar ones), 9 different Disciples and 11 spells for them; doing some maths this means:
- 12 rage spells,
- at least 8 to 12 cataclysm effects,
- 4 new icons (which I need to put together),
- 36 Disciples,
- 44 new Disciple spells (with their appearence).

A pretty huge amount of things to be done ahahahaha.

Up to now I have done all the icons, all the rage spells, all the cataclysms effects and started to do 4 disciples spells out of 44, to give you something, here following I will show you the new Tyrants icons and the name of the new Tyrants along with their "Field of influence":

- Drholl: Discipline
- Tolden: Matter

Upcoming Update

Hello everyone.

Since Early Access release I was working on a new system to implement in the game, something can already be seen in the game's screenshot published.

This system will increase the difficulty of the game; completing missions will become harder than before. The Tyrant isn't just an abstract entity in the game, he/she is the only reason you are here and to feel more the "Oppression" this new mechanic will come in place to help you in that :D.

Since it's almost christmas time, what to implement if not beautiful "Cataclysms"? :D

Cataclysms are basically evolving malicious effects (debuff and other nasty effects) permanently applied to your heroes and sometime bonuses permanently applied to disciples. Those effects will increase in potency and effect amount as Weapon Forge grows: each Weapon Forge Stage will increase the potency of the Cataclysm, adding new effects and empowering the already applied ones.
In other words the more missions you fail, the weaker you become, the stronger the disciples become and more likely you will lose the game.

Cataclysms are Tyrants' power emanations, the more Weapon Forge Tyrant's Disciples collects, the more the Tyrant become stronger which translate in more debilitating effects of their Cataclysms.

Every Tyrant Cataclysm will have different effects active per stage: some of those are common between Tyrants (all Tyrants' Cataclysm will provide these same effects per stage), some other will be related to the Tyrant chosen as enemy.

This entire system will come along some little changes to the UI to be able to better show those "beautiful" new effects alongside with the ones already in the game (like Season Spells, Auras and active Rage Spells).
In addition, new Tyrants will become available to choose from (with new disciples, Rage Spells and their own Cataclysms); a total of 7 Tyrants are planned to be available in the game, so keep following the game to know who they are ^^.
