We are constantly trying to make Emma smarter and better to answer all the questions you guys are throwing at her.
Based on that, we've just rolled out an update that makes Emma slightly more intelligent and she is able to answer some more questions now!
In-game achievements
Hey all!
We have managed to re-implement the in-game achievements for the 3D version from the 2D version.
Right now, these are not Steam achievements (but we will make them into real Steam achievements later on), and the visuals are not finished (they seem a bit too happy for an immersive thriller game).
But, we are happy to say that there are currently 43 (and we will add more) achievements to discover in the game!
As always, don't trust Emma!
There is now an in-game feedback system
Hey al!
Feedback on how to improve the game, bugs and suggestions, is important to us.
So to easier collect as much feedback as possible, we've added a Feedback form in-game.
So, feel free to use that to send us any comments!
Thanks for reading!
There is now a Stats menu
Hey all!
Case #1472 is a mystery interrogation game, and we are thinking really hard of what information and clues we can give the player without spoiling the story, but still help them along.
So, as a first step on this journey, we have now added a "Stats" menu that contains various (useless) information to the player about their game play. As the game keeps on being developed, we will try and add even more (useless) information to that screen!
Also, thanks to all the feedback so far, they are really helping us!
The game is now in 3D and in Early Access!
Greetings!
What a strange journey this has been so far!
We know we've been really really quiet the last few months regarding this game.
A game that started out as a fun "proof of concept" that got released as Steam Playtest, but thanks to so many people playing it (and doing YouTube videos of their let's play), we decided to step things up!
So, we've rewritten this game into a Unity 3D version.
The same concept applies; You are thrown into an unknown situation where you are interrogating a mysterious woman, but now.. Emma is in 3D! - And, we've found an amazing voice actress for Emma as well!
To keep things short; We still have lots to do (hence, it is release as an Early Access), but we are committed in seeing how far this project can go!
Thanks for reading, and as always - Don't trust everything Emma says!
Sincerely, Broken at Release Game Studio
More & Improved Answers
Hey all!
This is just a quick update, but we've done additional improvements with her dialogue, so she should give better answers.
We also just want to say thanks to everyone giving us feedback!
The number one feedback we are getting is "I don't know what to do or ask".
We are planing to create a detective board to help players map things out, so they know what they should question and why, however this is in the future.
We actually want to experiment to create a 3D version of this game, to see if it becomes more immersive, so that is next on our list!
But keep giving us feedback, it does help us improve the game concept!
The game now has YouTube safe music!
Hey all!
We know how annoying this is for gaming content creators, so we are we are happy to say that the game now has a custom made music soundtrack!
Meaning you can play the game (or upload a video play-through) on any platform without the fear of being Copyright claimed or muted! Yay!
More & Improved Answers
Hey all!
We just wanted to say that we have done some updates to the game!
- We've improved and additional answers to the game! - We've also added more achievements - Lastly, as you might have noticed, we have changed the game's logotype and art-work outside the game!
As always, we also would like to thank everyone who continuously gives us feedback!
We appreciate all the feedback we are getting on all our channels (from in-game to DMs) in order to improve the game! Thank you!
Introducing achievements
Hey all!
We've been experimenting with adding some kind of an achievement system into the game, because we think it would be fun to reward players asking certain questions!
However, since the detailed story plot is such an important part of the core, we don't want to create a system that would somehow reveal or spoil the story.
So we've decided to create a set of achievements, but let them remain hidden until they are achieved.
We would love to get feedback on this system and if it is good or bad and how it can be improved going forward!
More & Improved Answers

We've done an additional update with even more improved and additional answers!
We are also working on some other new features, such as achievements and music, so stay tuned!
