Hi everyone! Cashtronauts has been in Early Access long enough, it's time to hit full release!
Thank you to everyone who tried the game in Early Access and provided valuable feedback, suggestions and opinions. The game evolved a lot in the past 12 months because of you.

PS - Not sure if it's economically wise for me to say this, but if you haven't already purchased the game, you might want to wait another week... cough cough launch sale cough
Minor Update
Hi everyone! Minor patch today, mostly behind-the-scenes stuff like a engine update (Unity). There's also a band-aid fix for that "infinite money" bug; proper fix and more balance changes to come soon.
Early Access ends soon. In the next few weeks I hope to do a lot of balancing and polish, then go for full release. If you have anything that you really want changed before 1.0 hits, let me know!
The Big April Update has been Updated & 40% OFF!
Two quick tweaks have been made following player feedback:
Collision damage has been removed.
Refueling and reloading is much faster.
And one big tweak: a 40% weeklong discount! That means more game for less money, huzzah!

The Big April Update!
It's the game's biggest single update yet, featuring:
* Complete overhaul of all the Risks, introducing plenty of new mechanics
* New achievements!
* New NPC: the T-Rex mercenary
* More graphical polish and effects
* Additional bug fixes and balancing
More achievements, sound polish and other fixes are coming but the game is finally nearing the end of Early Access. Thank you all for your continued support!
March 7th Update
OMG health bars! We've got health bars! Please please, put down that Game Of The Year Award, it's only March. But thank you, I feel honoured.
This update also adds a few other things:
* Better ship balancing
* Varied inventory sizes for each ship!
* Player mining ships are now legally allowed to mine Reddium. Cops will only attack you if you carry Reddium in a non-mining ship now.
Enjoy! More to come!
Minor Update: Clever Girl
Raptor pirates will now use their brains and aim more accurately, so it'll take more than circle-strafing to take them down. Good luck!
February Update - Become Vermin!
I promised some folks a February update, and thanks to Leap Day I juuuust made it! This update adds a new playable ship: the missile-flinging Vermin machine. To unlock this ship, destroy a single Vermin ship (or have the TriceraCops or Raptors do it for you).
In case you don't know how to unlock the other ships, here's a recap: the TriceraCop cruiser is unlocked by selling 6 teeth in a single game, and the Stego mining vessel is unlocked by selling yellow ore. To choose your ship, simply right-click (or press Y on your gamepad) in the player select screen.
There are a few other minor tweaks too, cleaning up some menus and some shader work. More updates to come soon, so enjoy!
November Update: Playable Police Ship & Trading Cards
With this update you'll be able to pilot a TriceraCop cruiser! It's more heavily armoured than the starting player ship, but has a much shorter flight range, so you'll have to stick close to the centre of the map. :triceracop:
This isn't shown in-game yet, but the Miner and TriceraCop ships are now locked by default. To unlock the Miner ship you need to sell your first piece of gold mineral. To unlock the Cop ship, you need to sell your first pirate tooth. In the ship select screen, press Right Mouse Button (PC) or the Y Button (Xbox Gamepad) to toggle between your unlocked ships.
We've also added trading cards! Huzzah! They like jpegs, but you can trade them or turn them into other kinds of jpegs! :vermin:
Enjoy, and thank you for playing! More updates to come :) Next on our to-do is playable Pirate ships, a new enemy type and new Risks.
Bug Fixes & New Playable Ship
Greetings everyone! Development on the game continues and today's patch fixes several small bugs and introduces one new feature.
Minor Fixes
Minerals will no longer lose their colour and appear white
Comets will no longer destroy buildings
Added a bit of polish and animation to the player select screen
New Feature - Mining Ship
This feature is still a work in progress, but I thought I'd make this ship playable ASAP to get your input. When this feature is done these ships will be unlocked by performing certain feats in-game, but for now the Mining Ship is unlocked from the start.
To switch to the Mining Ship, press the Right Mouse Button (or Y Button if you're playing on Gamepad) when you see your ship in the Player Select screen. The mining ship is bigger and slower, but has much more health than the regular ship. Its weapon, the grinder, uses no ammo so weapon upgrades serve no purpose.
This will require a lot more balancing and polish later, including changes to the HUD. But for now, enjoy and drop a note in the Community Hub if you want to share your thoughts.
Coming soon: playable Triceracops ship...
Thanks, and have fun!

Patch - New Art, Rebalancing & Full Controller Support
Today's update includes a mix of gameplay balance changes and art improvements.
New skybox
New models for mineral pickups
Full controller support is added
The "Contraband" Risk now also gives you free fuel when you sell Blutonium
If you've got any feedback on these changes, let us know in the Community Hub. You can also just play the old version, too! Right-click on the game in your Steam library and click "Properties". In the "beta" tab select "previous" and your game will un-update to yesterday's version of the game.
Thank you all for your support! Stay tuned, we'll have news on the next BIG update soon...
