FEATURE Added ability to run short item auctions between 1-23 hours in addition to the standard 1-14 day auctions. FEATURE Updated 4 casino and condo lights with white options. UPDATE When casinos were added to the memorial list, any breaks they currently had would be frozen with the casino. The system will now better honor these memorials by automatically fixing any breaks on these casinos. UPDATE When someone is on a chat ban, they're now also blocked from sending condo invites for that same duration. UPDATE Further database tuning for improved performance and stability. FIX If a casino floor is closed, crew members and other players on the VIP list can no longer access the floor. FIX Moving items in and out of the vault in a certain order could cause items to appear to vanish and require a reload to get them showing again. FIX Various server and client errors.

FEATURE The Vault tab in the casino editor now has a "Show/Hide Item Levels" option by clicking on the gear icon. When toggled, the levels of all items on the floor will be displayed to make management of upgrades easier. The number displays are also color-coded. FEATURE Added 6 new color options for the original poker table items (long and round tables). FEATURE Added 4 new color options for the Pirate Bingo Machine items. UPDATE We collected lots of data from the last 2XP Day and used that to make even more performance optimizations to the server back-end. These improvements will help across the board, but they're especially impactful during bomb parties. UPDATE Previously, the upgrade item button was hidden in favor of the vault button when on the Vault tab, but now both options are available when selecting items on your casino floor. FIX Pigeons would sometimes get stuck on people's heads. FIX Various client errors that could cause unexpected bugs.

FEATURE Group chats in the GoldFire toolbar can now be re-named by the group starter (enter the group chat, click the gear icon and type a name). UPDATE Private chat and group chats will no longer auto scroll to the bottom for new messages if you have scrolled back in the chat history. UPDATE Notifications for lots/casinos on your watch list now include the address rather than just the name. UPDATE Created a new monitoring system that will detect servers with issues and automatically replace them to help avoid downtime issues in the future. UPDATE Huge re-write of our server/database code in-game to improve performance and stability (this affects almost every area of the game). UPDATE Various updates to the server/database code with the toolbar/chat system for similar performance and stability gains. UPDATE Lots of other server optimizations to better stabilize and improve overall performance (especially when there's a lot of activity going on). FIX Sometimes players on a chat ban would still have messages appear in event or trade chat. FIX Sometimes bomb party time slots would be blocked from being bid on when they shouldn't be. FIX Opening the real estate market listing for a casino by clicking the button on the mini-map now correctly shows the current high bid. FIX Syncing data between servers would sometimes be out of sync, which would cause unexpected issues such as duplicating slot tournaments, activities not starting correctly, etc.

FEATURE The mini-map now highlights casinos in pink (with a little "for sale" sign) that are listed for sale in the market or auctions (only for listings after this update). FEATURE Clicking on a casino that is for sale on the mini-map will give you a "view sale" button to take you directly to the listing in a nearby real estate office. FEATURE Added 4 new Foil Curtain item color options. FEATURE Both the Auction House and Real Estate Market will now highlight listings that you have an open bid on (green if you are the high bidder, red if you've been outbid). UPDATE Increased the score needed to win slot tournaments so that they last longer. UPDATE Increased global chat max length from 140 to 200 characters. UPDATE Updated server back-end systems for improved performance and stability. UPDATE The normal birthday/celebration decorative items are also available in crew houses. UPDATE When a player receives multiple chat "blackhips" within a short period of time, the length of chat ban will increase at a greater rate than before. FIX Some broken items were still applying to hotel amenity scores, which could cause unexpected effects on your overall casino stats. FIX The cost of building a new floor didn't always match with what was shown on the screen (the amount charged was always lower than the screen was saying). FIX Some players were getting a half broken scorecard for wars in rare instances. FIX Pick 5 tickets would reset right after buying them in rare instances. FIX The white Pedi Chair item in hotels would change to a brown color when rotated backwards. FIX The list of items to sell at auction would not render when the screen was too small or zoomed in a certain amount.

Wow! Can you believe it? CasinoRPG is turning 10 on April 16, 2024! What started as a dream project back in 2012 has turned into a decade-long adventure of building, betting and bonding. A huge shoutout to our Kickstarter backers for helping to get us off the ground in early 2013 and to all of you for joining the game -- whether you’ve been here since the early beta days or just joined the party.
However, the full release in 2014 was only the beginning of the story. From our early days to now, CasinoRPG has grown immensely, thanks in large part to all of your ideas and feedback. It’s been a blast adding new features, gameplay, events and various updates over the years. We've been even more thrilled to see how this community has grown into one of the best places to hang out with new and old friends online! Seriously, you all make CasinoRPG what it is, and we’re excited to keep building this world into what you all want it to be.
Whether you’ve been building your casino empire from day one or you’re just starting your own journey, we appreciate each and every one of you. Every suggestion, every bug report and every high-five has helped shape CasinoRPG. FEATURE When listing Casino Points for sale, there is now a third input for a "packs" value. This defaults to 1, which was the prior behavior. However, you can now increase this to create multiple listings at once. The limits for simultaneous listings have now been increased as well. UPDATE Increased the chip buy-in/prize for several of the paid and freeroll poker tournaments (currently schedule tournaments excluded). UPDATE When the last member of a crew leaves (and thus deletes the crew), the remaining balance of Chips and Casino Points will get automatically added to their account. UPDATE Speed up animation on elevator doors. FIX Various issues with the hotel cost inputs. FIX Holding down mouse for movement had stopped working with the prior update. FIX More scenarios where the taxi wouldn't drop you off at the front door of a casino. FIX Various fixes and updates to both the Android and Apple mobile apps. FEATURE New "sale lock" feature in the vault that allows you to lock specific types of items so that they won't be sold when using the "sell all" feature in the vault. Simply click the lock icon on the item to toggle this functionality. UPDATE Just like with employee wages/counts, the room rates for hotels are now inputs that can be typed into instead of just using the +/- buttons. UPDATE When listing a casino for sale at the Real Estate Market, you must now wait an hour after vaulting or selling items from that casino to allow the stats to update. UPDATE The "new listing" window at the Real Estate Market now has a search bar to filter your casinos by name or address. UPDATE When a holiday event is running, the items that get decorated around the city will now show as the normal non-decorated versions in the Auction House, Vault and Build views to avoid confusion. FIX If other players are moving by keyboard, they would sometimes get relatively far out of sync of where they were actually standing, which could cause confusion especially with bomb parties, etc. FIX The keyboard syncing improvements had a side-effect of fixing a rare instance where players could effectively phase through a barrier (though we still maintain that the only fool-proof way of protecting a floor is with the VIP feature). FIX The maximum slot score leaderboard for the current month was only updating when you got a new personal best, rather than a new personal best for the month. FIX Using the taxi to go to some casinos wouldn't always take you to the right building. FIX Various issues with the new bingo missions. FIX In rare instances, some real estate auctions would end twice, awarding two different winners. FIX Casino Points will no longer update to show "0" when playing Roulette (this was always just a visual glitch). FIX Rotations for some of the sauna items were wrong. FIX Various server error fixes.

UPDATE New version of the Android app that fixes keyboard and other issues (pending Google Play approval). UPDATE New version of the iOS app with improved support and fixes for the latest OS versions. UPDATE Closed casinos that go to auction now start with the default bid amount instead of the "fair market value" when they closed, since that can give a very different and sometimes inaccurate view of the current state of the building's contents. FEATURE The Casinos app in your in-game phone has been overhauled to include various filters and a search function to make it easier to access the specific casino(s) you're looking for. FEATURE The numbers for wage and employee count in the "Manage" tab of the casino editor are now inputs so that you can directly type the values in addition to using the +/- buttons. UPDATE The Android app has been completely re-built to fully support Android 13 (it still works on older versions as well). UPDATE The monthly casino profit leaderboard now uses your maximum profit for the month. UPDATE Current total hourly casino profit can now be viewed from player profiles. UPDATE Condo invites will now work when offline/disconnected so that invites should no longer get lost. It can also now handle multiple pending invites at once UPDATE The notifications for Pick 5 winnings have been consolidated so that multiple wins at a drawing won't spam you with notifications. UPDATE Hovering over your level in the top left of the screen will show the exact amount of XP remaining to the next level. FIX Not all purchase dates were showing correctly in real estate history. FIX Sometimes the wrong date would be shown for the next Double XP Day (just a visual glitch). FIX Players that sign up for a poker tournament within the last 15 minutes will now get added to party chat and receive the 2-minute warning popup. FIX Several server errors that would cause disconnects randomly.
Double XP Day
On the last Saturday of every month is "Double XP Day" in CasinoRPG! This means that anything you do in the game will earn you double the experience points to level faster. There are events organized by other players and the Community Ambassadors all throughout the day, so be sure to stop in and join in on the festivities.
