Tired of shooting your usual projectiles? We got you, use your special power to evaporate any enemy on screen! (well, except bosses for weird reasons)
Each character's special will change according to their weapon. From Energy Ball to Magnet Bomb or Spartan Crusher there is a lot of specials to discover but take a glimpse at some character's specials :
Agni's Skull Slap
Invoke a giant skeleton to gently SLAP your enemy into the void. This should do it nicely.
Colden's Dragon's Breath
Kindly ask a dragon to clean your screen with a little breath of fire. Can't be bad right?
Luken's Bat Tornado
Nananana Lukeeen! Make use of the bats surrounding you and blow of your enemies with a bat tornado!

Cassiodora features score points and a ranking system from F to S determined at the end of each level. There are different ways to get the most point:
- Defeat enemies
- Don't lose life points
- Make the biggest combo hit
- Finish a level quickly

As we've seen Cassiodora let you adjust the difficulty to have the perfect experience!
But that doesn't mean there won't be any challenges. Cassiodora features 33 achievements on Steam ranging from defeating bosses, finishing whole region of the game or achieving S rank on levels! Here is a sneak peek at some of them:

With Cassiodora we wanted to create a game accessible to all players. In addition to the standard difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard), we will have an accessibility level available where the player will be able to enjoy the game without worrying about the punishment for making mistakes, regardless of their age or familiarity with games. On the other hand, the game can be quite challenging for those willing to face the challenge.
4 difficulty levels:
Apprentice
This is an accessibility level, not punitive, even if you die the game does not give you a game over, you can just keep playing without having to worry about that. This is indicated to new players or younger kids.
Squire
This is the Easy mode, you have more health, you can find health crystals during the levels to restore you lost crystals and the bosses have less health. Your health is also restored between some Bosses phases.
Warrior
This is the Normal mode, you have the standard amount of health and a good challenge on fights and puzzles. You also restore health between some Bosses phases.
Knight
This is the Hard mode, you have the standard amount of health but bosses have more health and challenges are much harder. You don't restore health between Bosses phases.
As you can see Cassiodora is a game that you will let you play and have fun with your friends and family whatever their skills!

To help you during your dangerous quest of rescuing the princess Cassiodora you've been given an elemental guardian to accompany you. Each Knights got their own elemental guardian like Agni's dragon, Colden's cat or even Luken's Owl.
As Knights you'll be able to customize your elemental guardian as you see fit. From their outfit to skills the choice is yours! But most importantly, don't ever forget to pet them!
