The New Game + update is now playable for all! Try your paws at the game again....but this time with all your levels and gear! Customize your difficulty(up to +999 levels) and challenge yourself to enemies so tough, your fur wouldn't stand a chance!
How to unlock New Game + 1. Make sure you complete the epilogue. You must do this even if you had completed it before. 2. The option for New Game + should appear in the main menu.

New Game + Beta test is now LIVE
Hey fellow catventueres and doge knights! We are almost done with New Game + and we're looking for volunteers to try out the mode before we make it live! We'd love all feedback to fix as many things as possible.
If you're interested in helping, here is how you can do it:
Step 1: Backup all your save files. 1. Go to C:\Users\User\Documents\Cat Quest II 2. Copy all the files here and paste them somewhere you can find them again.(eg. Desktop)
Step 2: Opt into the New Game+ Internal test. 1. In your Steam library, right click on Cat Quest II. 2. Click on Properties. 3. Go to the Beta tab. 4. Type in this password: newgameplusinternal 5. Choose the New Game Plus internal branch.
Step 3: Start a New Game Plus game. 1. To unlock New Game Plus, you first have to complete the epilogue. You must do this even if you had completed it before. 2. Once the epilogue has been completed again, a new option called New Game + should appear in the main menu.

Steam's Remote Play Together Makes Cat Quest II Online Pawssible!

What exciting news for us all! Thanks to the new feature 'Remote Play Together' that was just enabled by Steam, you can now play Cat Quest II co-op online! Isn't that a furrmidable update?
Here are the steps for you to enjoy Remote Play: 1. Enter the Steam Beta. You do this by clicking on Steam>Settings. 2. Start Cat Quest II. 3. While in the game, open the Steam Overlay(Shift-Tab). 4. Find the friend you want to play with and click the tiny arrow next to their name. 5. Select 'Remote Play Together'!
Important notice: Cat Quest II does not support two sets of keyboards and mouses, so at least one of you will need to use a gamepad in order to play together.

Bug Fixes, Optimisations, Tweaks and 21:9 Support!
Hello Catventurers and Doge Knights! We're excited to tell you guys the first patch for Cat Quest II is now LIVE!
Patch notes:
Bug fixes - Fixed various crash bugs due to quests. - Fixed various crash bugs due to co-op mode. - Fixed a bug where dungeons were not completing. - Fixed a bug where the Dungeon Master achievement was not triggering. - Implemented various safeguards should the Settings file get corrupted. - Implemented a handle should anti-virus prevent save files from being read. - Minor bug fixes.
Balance and tweaks - Boss stats were tweaked. - Spell stats were tweaked.(Lightnyan is stronger, Celestail is weaker) - Mage weapons tweaked.(Mage weapon damage has been slightly reduced) - Tutorials tweaked.(Tutorials now show that Mage weapons reduce 50% health more clearly) - You can now access the map room in Purrn Cave normally.(use this to get the chest you missed!) - Added 21:9 screen resolution support.
Optimisations - Optimisation done to some UI elements. (This should further increase fps for lower range computers) - Increased overall stability.
