Cat Quest's Anniversary and Cat Quest II Mew World Update!
Hello Catventurers!
Today is finally the day, the day where we celebrate International Cat Day! A few notable things – it’s the 3rd anniversary of Cat Quest coming out on Steam! Thank you all for your support thus far! Which brings us to the second piece of news: the Cat Quest franchise has already sold 1.3 million units since it first came out, isn’t that clawsome?
Finally, onto our piece de resistance, the Mew World Update is live for Cat Quest II! It’s free for everyone who already owns the game, and there is a limited-time discount to celebrate this occasion! This update has created by The Gentlebros as a ‘huge thank you to all our fans who’ve supported us since day 1. We never thought our games would be played by so many people! We read every single review, and every message sent to us, and these improvements and tweaks are what we feel would make the game a lot more enjoyable for everyone!’.
The Mew Game There are now 8 meowdifiers you can equip once you’ve finished the story and choose a Mew Game. From no equipment to twice the speed or no magic at all, you can really challenge yourself!

Special tip: after you finish the Mew Game, a special set of armor will be unlocked for you!
Reworked inventory A request of the fans, the sorting has been reworked and there is now a color code for rarity.
Sprinting As shown before, after running for a few seconds, your cat and dog will speed up and travel faster across the kingdoms.
Elemental damage You can now better see which weapons do what sort of elemental damage, and the numbers change color depending on which element you’re using!
New enemies You can now really challenge yourself while crossing the oceans and get a new source of XP and gold!
New Royal Arts As demonstrated, you now have a special attack, Pawer Smash remastered, that triggers whenever you roll and attack! Each weapon type has a different devastating attack!
Difficulty Based on the feedback received, there is now a difficulty choice as well as tweak to balance out the weapon upgrades versus the enemies getting tougher as you get to higher levels.
Defense The defense stat has been revamped and now works closer to how it did in Cat Quest! A shield is now over your life bar, and it will take damage first. It also recharges slowly over time.
Quality of Life A lot of tweaks will make the game smoother overall, but you’ll also be able to check the level of the quests and dungeons before you enter. The Kingsmaker also displays the general direction it will teleport you towards. You can now finally delete your save files!
The game is now also discounted for the next 48 hours at 33% if you have Steam friends who don’t have the game yet! We hope you enjoy this update and revamped catventure! Thank you again for your suppawt!

In case you had not seen the news, Cat Quest is back! Following the success of the acclaimed Cat Quest, developers The Gentlebros return to the world of Felingard to expand on the original with more explosive spells, expanded weapon options, an exciting new character switch mechanic, and local co-op!
You read that correctly, you can now play together with a friend or by yourself, as a cat AND A DOG!
Under threat from a continuing war between the cats of Felingard and the advancing dogs of the Lupus Empire, CAT QUEST II tells the tail of two kings, brought together against their will, on a journey of paw-some discovery to reclaim their thrones.

The Christmas Update is here!
Merry Kitmas and a Furry new year!
To celebrate the occasion, we're issuing an update that adds some exciting stuff!
A Whole New Questline!
Hop on over to the Queens Resort to start the Kitmas quest! This is a really cool story that adds new enemies, lore, boss fights and a pawsome new armor set!
Bringing back the 'New Game'!
We've heard feedback that some of you guys want to start a new game(and not a new game+), so we've brought back that option!
Be aware that selecting a New Game will remove all your armors, levels etc. Its akin to starting a fresh play-through! Your Mew Game saves will be untouched though!
Razer Chroma support
For all of you who own Chroma enabled Razer products, Cat Quest now supports it! Try casting magic and see your keyboard explode into magical colors! :)

Huge Content update! Mew Game, New Game+ and Russian language!
Hey fellow Catventurers!
It's been a long time coming, but the newest content update has gone live! Thank you to all the kind folk who helped beta test our new mode, you guys helped shape the game we have today!
Now to get to the cool stuff!
Mew Game
This is a new mode that only unlocks after you've beaten the game once, and is for players who want a new challenge! You'll be able to play the game with modifiers turned on that affect the game in different ways! Want to try to beat the game at Level One? This is the mode for you!
Oh, there's also never seen before rewards at the end of this challenge, so it will be worth it!
New Game +
For players who want to continue leveling up their character, armors and spells! Have fun steam rolling your enemies and showing them what a fully powered Dragonblood feels like!
Russian Language added
And we've also added an option for the Russian language! We got the best team we could find(the guys who localized Skyrim and Divinity: Original Sin 2), so we hope our Russian fans find it good enough! :)
Balance tweaks!
In addition to all that, we made slight balance tweaks:
- Willpower, Faith and Courage have been nerfed slightly.
- The mimic chests have lesser health.
- Some balance tweaks to the enemy spells to be more accurate.
Quality of Life improvements
- We added a UI to show which caves still contain missing chests! Great if you're trying to find the last few armors you're missing!
- Tweaked some of the button prompts to update better with controllers.
Bug fixes
- We've fixed a bug where a certain armor was not dropping for players in Icy Glaive. This armor should drop now, thank you for pointing this out for us!
And that's about it for the new update! Its a real big one!

Update 1.0.144 is out!
We're super excited to announce that we have released update 1.0.143! :D
This is a pretty big update that improves and fixes things you guys have suggested!
- Achievements are fixed! However, we need you all to load a save before the achievements can correct itself.
- BGM/SFX sliders are in!
- Improved pirate treasure!
- Nerfed Dragonsbane.(sorry guys!)
- Various bug fixes.
And for those still searching for Willpower and Faith, we've made them slightly easier to find! Good luck! :)
