Server Maintenance Nov.29th
Servers will go into maintenance mode starting at 1 PM [CET] in preparation for Update 1.4.2.
The maintenance should take about an hour.
During the maintenance, you won´t be able to login to the game. We will do our best to keep the maintenance as short as possible.
Login Issue Nov.16th under investigation
we will roll out a patch for our servers, starting 2:00PM [CET]. The Update addresses the issues some players had the last 24h (“displayed as offline”)
This server update may cause some irritation during its roll out. Your games might stop or you will lose connection to the servers.
Please excuse the inconveniences and thanks for understanding!
EDIT:
We’re still investigating the login issues that occurred sporadically over the last 24 hours, e.g. users showing as offline. This indicates that the game could not connect to the game servers. Both our development team and the team from our backend provider are working hard on fixing this as soon as possible. In the meantime we kindly ask for your patience.

“Arrival on Catan”: More free content for every Catan Universe user with update 1.4.0!
Once you have completed the tasks for the “Arrival on Catan” you will permanently unlock the Single-Player and Custom-Match modes for the basic “Arrival on Catan” scenario.
This means: More free content for every Catan Universe user! You don´t even need an account to get started!
Our old friend Candamir will assist you in your first steps on the island. You will play games in every expansion available in Catan Universe and get challenged by the AI.
If you already registered an account before update 1.4, you will be rewarded with the unlocks of "Arrival on Catan" automatically. This means custom games with friends as well as games against AI players in the “Arrival on Catan” scenario are now available for free to every registered player!
If you want to play the introduction anyway, you can restart the "Arrival of Catan" via the options menu. You will face the same challenges as a new player, but might also get to play expansions you don´t have unlocked yet.
