The full version of the game contains the following features and additions:
The final level of the game: The summit of Lava Mountain. The most challenging task there is to save the Cat Kingdom. Resources are limited, and the time is ticking. Can you handle such a difficult job?
The final boss: A big, scary Dragon for your cute kitties to fight!
Sandbox mode: Develop your feline settlement without the campaign story restrictions. Build a cute town for your cats in various environments. Forest, Swamp, Mountain, and mixed-terrain biomes will be available in this mode.
More randomized events in both game modes.
New decor items to decorate cat houses. Dragons are dragons, but coziness will not create itself!

Hello, Pawsome!
Long time no see, friends, but the work on the game continues. We are putting the last touches on the final level of Catizens… which means the game is almost complete! The catizens have reached the top of the mountain and face their most dangerous challenge yet: saving the cat kingdom!
But it's not that simple – a lava-scorched wasteland and a giant dragon stand between the furry villagers and a peaceful life. With your help, they just might overcome these dangers!
Here's what await the catizens in the new update:
Level 6: "The Summit." This land of ash, lava, and treacherous terrain is hated by all of the cats, but they must push through for the sake of the kingdom.
A mission to save the Cat Kingdom. With limited resources and no new residents, protecting the village from the destructive lava flow will not be easy, but we hope you will succeed.
The new boss is a giant dragon. He patrols the neighborhood of the volcano and raids the cat's camp. Defeating him will require coordinated teamwork and leveled-up, mighty catizens.
The conclusion of an epic cat's odyssey, but will they receive a happy ending?
The update is currently being tested and bugs are being fixed, but it will be available to all players very soon!
It combines the creepy atmosphere of dark fantasy, cheerful humor, and, of course, the daring gnomes desperately fighting for their freedom and independence.
Lead a motley crew of guerrillas to free your captured comrades and escape the tyranny of the ruthless Snow White. For the tenacious players, we've hidden a secret quest within the prologue—conquering it will bring you closer to solving the mystery of the eighth gnome! Look for the clue in the video!

Once you've finished the prologue (and added Union of Gnomes to your Steam Wishlist), you can look forward to the full story of the gnomes' heroic adventures as they fight for their freedom in the full game. The gnomes stand for freedom and the right not to impose subjugation on anyone else!

Updated interface and future plans
Hello Pawsome!
We are hard at work preparing Catizens for the full release, but in the meantime, we want to release a small update on one of the biggest parts of the game.
A lot of new functionality has been added to Catizens since it went into Early Access. Unfortunately, we haven't always been able to fit these changes into the game's UI. So, we are updating the interface to make sure players can find everything they need with ease.
Not only is the UI more convenient but it's also been given a visual update to appear more fairy-tale-like.
We are also continuing to work on the last level of the game, a brand new boss, and we'll be replacing the wolf and bear models.

Catizens whelpling update is now available!
Hello Pawsome!
We've completed a brand new, feature-rich update for Catizens! We've mentioned some of the improvements in a previous post, but we want to tell you about them all over again.
We've added:
New enemies – cute but dangerous whelplings that spit fireballs and can burn everything around them. Train your rangers to shoot down these adorable, but dangerous dragons before they attack your town.
New protection for your settlement – Walls, watchtowers, and castle gates. The walls are a great defence against the rats and whelplings. And the watchtower can be used to shoot enemies at a distance (and keep the tower's guardian safe!)
New resource – Keep your eyes peeled for the magic crystals and don't miss them on the map.
New armor and swords for knights – Your blacksmith can use magic crystals to forge these new armaments
New decor – A mailbox in the shape of a fish, along with several fences.
We are still working on Chapter 5, a new interface, and additional decor elements for your kitty's houses. Hop into our purring community on Discord and share your impressions of the game. We hope you'll love the new update.

Whelplings, watchtowers and magic crystals!
Hello Pawsome!
It's been a while since we updated you about the development progress of Catizens, but we have some exciting news to share. You'll be able to climb Lava Meowtain and face a brand new enemy – the whelplings – in the next update!
In addition to the new level, we've implemented some of the comments and ideas from our community, including castle walls, watchtowers, and castle games. Now, players will have more options when defending their catizens from the rats, undead, and other creatures of the realm.
Players can also decorate their towns with beautiful fences to create gardens and cozy courtyards. The cuddly kitties will love these new areas.
And, finally, with the rare magic crystal resource, platers can use the blacksmith to forge magic weapons and armor for knights. Thommas and Leandra can successfully save the Cat Kingdom with the new equipment!
We are still making changes and testing out the update, which will be available early November. In the meantime, join our Discord to chat about Catizens with other fans.

We're excited to announce that Catizens will be participating in the Cat Awareness Sale on Steam. The event will run from August 8 to 14, and you'll be able to get the game at a 20% discount.
We are also releasing the soundtrack for Catizens, which is composed by the one and only Vincent Diamante, and will be included with the game! It will also include a few alternative tracks that aren't in Catizens.
You'll know Vincent as the composer for Flower, Skullgirls, and Sky: Children of Light. We are very excited about this collaboration, and we are sure you'll love the soundtrack!

We're hard at work preparing for the next level of Catizens. It'll include even more challenging enemies who want to harm the kitties, as well as walls (and maybe watchtowers) to help the catizens defend themselves.
Today, we want to show off a few concepts for the next level of the game.
The catizens are getting closer and closer to the top of the volcano. As they ascend the mountain, the landscape becomes more rugged.
In addition, we're adding more cosmetic details and have completed a few models for the rats' camp.
We are also redesigning the interface to make sure it's as clear and player-friendly as possible. Oh, and there will be new accessories for your felines!
