Different Endings Update released!
One new ending finishes the story that the in-game comic started, how Clayton destroyed the civilization of the Elder Lizards and killed their King. Now comes accountability, and maybe even absolution.
The other is a fun one about Chompys, the living chests who for inexplicable reasons have invaded the Cave Digger world. Some creatures are best kept on a tight leash, but now it is too late as you will see!
Operation: Trade Card Digging
The Steam Trading Cards set is officially live. Get ready to dive deeper into the world of Cave Digger 2 with a brand new set of trading cards, featuring artwork that captures the essence of your underground exploits.

Cave Digger 2 will be out Switch!
Cave Digger 2 is now officially available on the Nintendo Switch!
This means that you will finally be able to play with anyone on any platform possible. Xbox, Playstation, Oculus, you name it!
Grab your pickaxe, put on your best costume, and get ready to dive into the depths of adventure wherever you go. Explore mysterious caves, unearth hidden treasures, and uncover secrets that lie beneath the surface – now on the go with the portability of the Switch!
Cave Digger 2 switch port will be officially out on the 20th of June, this month.

Wake up rookies! Huge announcement just dropped:
Today we cross pickaxes and we welcome the new recruits to the Valley:
the game is now cross-playable on ANY platform, including between VR and Flat, so even if your friend doesn't have a headset, they will be able to join you on the same server!
It won't matter if you are in different consoles as well, you'll be able to seamlessly co-op together.

But that’s not even the coolest thing: Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder will now include the flat version Cave Digger 2!
You can also bring your old VR save to the flat game, and vice versa. To continue from the same save between the two games, copy and paste the CD2SaveData.save file found in one game folder [User]/AppData/LocalLow/Mekiwi/[Game] to the other one.

Welcome to Steam Next Fest. If you don't know what it is, it's where many upcoming games share their demo version for free so you can try it out!
We are releasing Cave Digger 2 PC version on Nov 15 and with that, we are also sharing the demo version of the game! Bring your friends to play it out, and make sure to wishlist it if you haven't yet.
The game will be cross-playable in ANY platform we launch with VR and Flat, so even if your friend doesn't have VR, they will be able to join you on the same server! It won't matter if you are in different consoles as well, you'll be able to seamlessly multiply together.

Hello miners and minettes!
To celebrate the second anniversary of Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder launch on Steam Early Access (Sep 14), and the first anniversary of the multi-platform full release (Sep 8), we are very excited to announce that Cave Digger 2 will launch on flat-screen platforms on Nov 15!
What does this mean?
This means that you will be able to invite a friend who does not have a VR machine to play together with you. Whether your friend is on a console or PC, you will be able to seamlessly play together thanks to our multi-platform coop crossplay!
When will this be?
Starting from Nov 15, keyboard+mouse and controller-equipped miners can get the game from PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games, and Humble stores. Xbox and Nintendo releases will be able to play together by buying the newly launched flat version of the game. We will also launch a demo for Steam Next Fest, which takes place from October 9 to 16. The demo will be available from Oct 1.

Just like last time, it's your chance to showcase your in-game fashion prowess in Cave Digger 2. The judges (aka the devs) will be on the lookout for the most creative, hilarious, cool, and downright interesting outfits. The lucky winner will be crowned the prestigious title of @Underground Drip King 😎 on Discord and receive a mystery box delivered right to their doorstep! Oh, and we'll also pick one random winner because surprises are fun!

Since the last event, Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder has added over 50 costumes and cosmetics for you to mix and match, allowing you to truly express yourself in the game.
By now, you should know the drill, but just in case you've been living under a rock (or a cave), once you've purchased your cabin, you can strut over to the mirror and change your costume to your heart's content. As for me, I rock the king drip with Jack-O-Lantern hat for my daily drip!
But hold on, don't limit yourself to costumes alone. Feel free to throw in some props and get your creative juices flowing. There are no restrictions on the backdrop either, so if you've got a buddy in the Discord or in real life, grab 'em and strike a pose together! Let your imagination run wild because the sky's the limit. Capture the most jaw-dropping screenshot or mind-blowing video you can think of.

5 Years of Digging
Hello Prospectors!⛏️ We're celebrating the 5th year anniversary of Cave Digger! 🎉
It's already been 5 years since the first Cave Digger launched on Steam and other platforms.
Ever since the release, we added multiple endings to the games, updated the graphics, added more features, and expanded our game thanks to your support of the game.
Not only that, we had so many players, videos, and our community has been exploding with great members and contents.
Thank you everyone for playing and supporting our game.
To quote our art director AMP about pre-production in one of the dev blogs,
