DLC is on the way to the Frontier, fuelled by community feedback!
We’ve been happily surprised by all the great feedback that Cave Digger has received during the past weeks. Many of you have been asking if we’re going to continue development, and the answer is yes. We have a lot of cool unused ideas for Cave Digger and the game can still be improved in many ways.
The future updates will be included in a paid DLC. Even though we’d love to give you everything for free, we still gotta eat and pay our bills. Also this will enable us to continue development. We have already started working on the new content and the DLC will be released later this year.
The main additions that we’re planning to develop:
Multiple endings. Some are quite straightforward, some you have to figure out.
Upgradeable gear: You can now upgrade your pickaxe, saw, drill etc. to be more efficient and powerful.
Hidden secrets for the hard worker to discover.
A separate competitive mode to find the hardest worker of them all.
More details about the DLC will be released soon. Stay tuned!
