Patch Update and Fix Details

Hello everybody,

Thank you for your interest in Celestian Tales: Realms Beyond!

After a long time coming, it feels great to have this game out of the development stage and release it into the wild. Whether you're continuing your journey from Celestian Tales: Old North or a player new to the world of Celestian Tales, we hope you've been enjoying the game and cast of characters.

As you can imagine, despite the time and effort we have spent on making this the best experience possible, Realms Beyond is not without its shortcomings. Among others are bugs that have been identified in the early days of release, some of which have been discovered by players.

We have periodically updated the game to fix flagged bugs, with all critical ones fixed in less than a day after they were discovered. Other minor issues followed periodically, and the most recent update had been delivered just today.

Here's a list of fixes we have delivered up until today:

May 26, 5.00 AM
- Fixed issue where the fireplace in Aramis Mansion cannot be used for crafting
- Fixed issue in Summerlight Gardens where the character turns back and re-enters the previous map
- Added clear save file generation after finishing the game
- Fixed the final boss treating defeat as victory continues the story

May 18, 1.09 AM
- Fixed camera in AY Prologue
- Fixed Law Abiding / Law Bending Priest achievements not triggering right afterwards
- Fixed Westwood world map icon targeting wrong map
- Fixed follow-up event not immediately triggering after boss fight in Ertheros

- Added 99Tales LLC logo as Localization in credits
- Fixed some players being transported to wrong version of renovated Aramis Mansion after Eastwood, which prevented further event-triggers

Release Date

We are so pleased to finally be able to make this update. The journey has been long, but Celestian Tales Realms Beyond is complete and ready for release. We appreciate the continued interest by you in this game, whether you were a Kickstarter Backer or just a fan of Old North, and we hope the result makes the wait worth it.

Right now we are targeting May 7th as the release date. There a few approvals that we need to finalize and some coordinating we need to complete between the various distribution channels.
This may yet change again as certain things are out of our control, but we are hopeful this will remain the date.

These are trying times for all of us, and we hope you're all safe and healthy wherever you are. Hopefully this update can help shine a little more light to your day.

We are excited to announce the release of a demo for Celestian Tales: Realms Beyond. Pick up where you left off in Old North or experience the House of Levant for the first time.

If you have played Celestian Tales: Old North, the game will read your end save and shape the game's world based on the choices you've made. If you haven't and you don't have the time to play Old North, Realms Beyond is designed to accommodate new players into the setting.
