Update: Official OSVR support, bug fixes, small performance boost!

Hi everyone,

We have partnered with OSVR to officially support the headset! This update also includes a few minor bug fixes. Notably, we also upgraded from 32bit to 64bit, so performance should be slightly better.

AI, Bug Fixes, better visuals!

Hi all,

This update includes a small hive based AI for the enemies, which makes them feel more like actual ships and not just objects that follow your hand around!

In addition, as many of you know Unreal Engine 4.14 came out which enables the Forward Renderer for VR. This allowed us to super-sample a little and use better Anti-Aliasing, so everything should be much clearer now!

Finally, some minor tweaks were made that should help both CPU and GPU performance, along with a few bug fixes. The most notable of which is that the third map was unusable in the last update, but it is fixed now, and exiting via steam's overlay is a little bit faster and correct now.

Some of the smaller bug fixes are listed below:
Fixed menu pointer not showing up
Fixed drone vibration in hand when moving not working
Fixed some menu buttons being hard to press
Fixed random music stopping
Fixed a crash that would happen when too many enemies were on screen

Update! Halloween over! Performance improvements again! Brand new music!

Hey, everyone!

We have a pretty small update for everyone today that mainly removed the Halloween theme since it's November now, but I also included a few other quick things. There's about a 10% performance increase across the board and new music that we hope you all will love! Finally, we fixed the antivirus issue, and no longer will there be any false positives!

HOTFIX - Way better performance on second map, fixed pumpkins blocking scores!

Hi, all!

We noticed some performance issues in the second map caused by bad lighting, and fixed it up.

Also, some pumpkins were blocking the score, and we moved those right out of the way.

The official release is out!

We have added yet another map, made many bug fixes, replaced the menu with a point and click menu, added high quality models to all the enemies, made better music, and finally spookified everything in the spirit of halloween!

Almost Done!

Hello!

We would like to extend our gratitude for supporting Chamber 19 through the early access phase. For the past several months, we have been taking in your feedback, especially those who were concerned about our similarity to Xortex. We have been planning and designing a full overhaul of this game. We have added professional models, excellent descriptions, and new weapons for you to deal with, along with a few other undisclosed features we know you guys will love. In the following days, we will release some pictures and descriptions of our new overhaul. We can’t wait to finally exit early access! In closing, I want to thank you to all those who have backed us so far. You can expect this update sometime within 2-4 weeks! Who Knows? A revolutionary RPG might be coming in the next year! :)

Small update with a new environment

This update includes a few bug fixes, small tweaks, and most notably a new environment that can be used with the switch map button on the menu!

New enemies, powerups, and gamemodes coming soon!

HOTFIX 6/30/16

Fixed the shield powerup not working
Fixed lighting incorrectly propagating
Fixed level 30 boss being impossible to defeat
Fixed enemies spawning after they all got destroyed on your death
Fixed some resolution bugs

Bug fixes and a few extra things in prep for a large update!

Waves 31-40 have now been added
A few new enemies and bosses!
Rockets explosions are now smaller
Increased the resolution of the textures, making everything less blurry!
Replaced the dark theme with a brighter white sci-fi lab theme
The controller/control info now disapears on game start
Fixed bugs affecting bosses 15 and 20 making them shoot incorrectly
Fixed bugs affecting the core game mode
Fixed a bug that would cause powerup flashing to loop
Fixed a bug that caused the autotower to spawn abnormally huge
Fixed the center being un-aligned with the environment
Enemies now all get destroyed when you die to stop any extra point gains
Rockets are now way slower and more accurate + they do more damage!
Changed the "shotgun enemy" to be more like a passive bullet spawner
Fixed many more bugs not listed here, notably including score glitches
Made "Easy" a bit easier as some people still found it too hard!

We have more waves, powerups, and enemies in the works, but decided to release a smaller patch to fix bugs and make some general improvements with a few new waves in preparation for the larger content update!

P.S. Leaderboard has been reset, as we fixed some bugs involving a score exploit.

Chamber 19: Demo now officially available!

There is now a 5 wave demo for people to try. It includes some options like 360/180 mode, but is limited to 5 waves. There is also a boss fight and powerups to give people a taste of the full game! Hope you all like it!
