Alpha Content Update: New Mode "Where Is Wilhelm"!
The first content update to the alpha has been released containing some new features and fixes:
New Features: + A new mode! Find the right person and collect coins in "Where is Willhelm"! + A new map! Jump around between old buildings close to the water on "Bregenz Piers" + A new hat! Play the Bowler Hat "Mr. Hattleberry" + A new trail! Use the Donut Trail to feed your hunger for trails
Fixes: + Fixed Wallslides in the tutorial at ground level + Fixed most cases of getting stuck between collisions + Fixed Stomp effect not properly stopping + Fixed Stomp into Wallslide resulting in "Stomp Storage" (Thanks @Popa21#2085 ) + Fixed visual bugs with the trails in the Character Selection + Fixed some walls not behaving correctly in the tutorial with Wallslides + Adjusted some light settings on Prater, this is for further optimizing in the future on other maps + Fixed flickering shadows in prewarm boxes + Optimization changes on Prater

Minor update
We have just pushed an update to Steam with a few changes and fixes: + Completely reworked Mouse Input (No in-game sensitivity yet for the mouse, as it's direct input!) + Basic Quality Settings (Default is on low: change it in the options menu!) + Fixed getting stuck against a wall while dashing + Fixed respawn in tutorial getting stuck + Fixed minor UI issues + Reworked human rig for better performance + Fixed UI clipping into objects + Fixed Confetti FX in win screen
We're also introducing the Duke's Discord Challenge! With every content release of the alpha, there will be a challenge. Whoever posts a screenshot of them completing the challenge first on our Discord, get's the role "The Duke", until the next challenge comes.
The first challenge will be... Find the hidden Alpaca in the game! The first one who posts a screenshot of it, get's the role.

Everyone here is excited about this, as it is our FIRST time releasing something as a studio, working together. After graduating we came together to found SaltCastleStudio and with a lot of help from friends and family we got to where we are etching closer and closer to an official release.

We would recommend playing with a controller, but you can also enjoy Chapeau on a keyboard. There will be updates happening to the alpha, some may change the mode, the hats or the maps around. It will run for about 6 weeks in total.
