We have made some exciting changes to the game and revamped the way things are carried around. You now have the ability to lock and unlock objects to containers. Held items will also not collide with some surfaces to make it easier to teleport with many items in containers.

We are experimenting with new types of locomotion and have them on the beta branch. Check it out on the beta branch, we are also experimenting with a different approach to containers. We are still fine tuning these new features and will push them to live when we think they are ready. If you are eager to give it a try, you can switch to the beta branch on steam.
Instructions to switch to beta branch:
Right click on ChefU in your steam library and click properties.
Select the Betas tab.
Enter the password 'cookingwithfire'
Opt into the beta branch and ChefU should switch to the beta version.
Have fun with the beta and don't forget to leave us feedback or suggestions.
New Locomotion Slide to position
Oculus can rotate with X and A keys when using Slide to position locomotion
Ability to lock items to a containers for example (cutting board, pots, pans, bowls and etc)
Items in containers now can be locked and unlocked with the trigger
Highlighting held items that are locked and are in no clip mode
Held items can now clip into some surfaces to reduce teleporting held items and causing a mess
Fixed issue with teleporting messing up the drawers and its contents
Removed ability to stick knives to surfaces
Increased the mass of several items
Increased grip drop threshold
Increased collider sizes on knives

Fixed issue where using garlic press didn't count towards recipes completion
Fixed issue with freemode unlocking recipes in other days
