Who is WDC?
WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation is the leading global charity dedicated to the protection and conservation of whales and dolphins.
Their expert-led teams in the UK, Europe, the Americas, and Australasia work across the whole spectrum of threats, from climate breakdown to accidental entanglements in fishing gear. They bring together, and work hand-in-hand with, businesses, philanthropists, scientists, NGOs, governments and grassroots communities to find solutions to the problems faced by whales and dolphins.
Their aim is to reverse the global decline in whale and dolphin populations by creating safe seas for these majestic creatures.
Entanglement in fishing gear, or ‘bycatch’ as it’s known, is the biggest threat whales and dolphins face. Many hundreds of thousands die in nets or get tangled up in fishing gear every year. As air-breathing mammals like us, when they get trapped in a net, panic can take over and they can sustain terrible injuries before either escaping, or suffocating. It is a massive problem and so WDC are working on some innovative solutions.
What WDC has been doing so far
WDC have been working across the globe to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises from dying in fishing gear:
They’re collaborating with creel fishers in Scotland to trial new types of fishing gear to reduce entanglements of humpback and minke whales.
They’re working with colleagues and partner organisations in the Central Baltic Sea to develop a recovery plan for a critically endangered group of Baltic harbour porpoises.
On the west coast of the United States, critically endangered North Atlantic right whales are facing extinction. Entanglement is a massive threat to their survival, and WDC have been working with fishers to trial alternative gear types.
In Hong Kong WDC have been supporting local community efforts and working with fishers to save the remaining 200 Indo-Pacific finless porpoises from extinction due to bycatch.
These projects are saving lives, and they are powered by inspiring people working together for the ocean.

Sri Lanka is home to many species of whales, dolphins and porpoises as well as a myriad of other sensitive marine species like sea turtles that are vulnerable to entanglement in gillnets – these are nets that hang in the water like a wall. With funding, WDC hopes to collaborate with Sri Lankan artisanal tuna fisheries that use gillnets to trial new gear types and reduce the impact their fishing has on marine life, while still enabling them to earn their living.
Whales and dolphins are awe-inspiring. They are intelligent beings, vital for the health of the ocean and planet. Together we can still help them recover and flourish and they can help us reconnect with the wild, and repair the damage we have caused.

What if... chess pieces were high-fantasy heroes fighting a mighty Dragon?
In Dragon Slayer, you need to push your pawn to the end of a path in order to kill the mighty dragon. But it will not be that easy! The dragon attacks the board every time the pawn moves and every undefended piece will die. So you need the help of your friends (Rooks, Bishops and Knights) to protect your pawn all along the way to the dragon's core. This is a strategic game for chess enthusiasts of all levels. Sacrifices will be necessary along the way, so be ready!

My name is Raphael and I am creative director at Minimol Games. We are a small indie game studio from Brazil working on puzzle games inspired by Chess tactics and strategies.
Maybe you know some of our titles like Zen Chess, Unlock The King or Knights Retreat.
The image above is from the game we are working on right now (to be released in 2022). It is a premium collection of tabletop games inspired by Chess culture, tactics and strategies. It will feature many different (original) games (all in one), hundreds of puzzles, a Creative Mode (for you to design your own puzzles), and some of the cutest Chess Pieces you’ve ever seen :)
Its development has been a lot of fun and we finally got to the point where we feel confortable in sharing its first demo for a small group (for free!)
This demo alone could be a complete $3-$5 dollars game on Steam, so we hope you have a lot of fun with it! Just keep in mind that it is a alpha version of it, and it can have a lot of bugs or strange things happening. You will be able to report those in-game , as well as give us suggestions and feedbacks!

Major Update: Secret Levels, Collectibles and much more!
Put your black clothes on. It is Shinobi time again.
We are very happy to release a major update, with several new features. Thank you very much for all the support, this game wouldn't be possible without you.
So, let me show you what is new!
All Levels are now available!
Ok, that was unexpected! We're still in early access but decided to release the whole game for you. It might have some minor bugs, but we'd love for you to play the whole experience and give us feedback.
The full main narrative has 50 levels in total. Have fun!
Secret "Surreal" Levels
There are 10 secret levels in the game, where you will need to recover artifacts protected by Shogi pieces.
Is it real or just a bad dream? Well, first you need to find them!
Recover all stollen pieces
In each secret level you'll find a special artifact. Solve the puzzle to bring them back to the Dojo and learn more about them.
More Features
We also added a couple more features like:
controller support for the gameplay;

A "highlight moves" option.
