Multiplayer is here!

Challenge another player in a single match where you select the game board or progress through the Campaign while accumulating XP. To play in the Campaign, just go to Multiplayer, Campaign, Create, then Invite to find an opponent by user name or add to your Friends List.

Make sure to join the ChessLocke Discord server if you need help finding an opponent.

30 Dungeon Missions Added

30 more missions have been added to the post-game Dungeon, increasing the total maps from 20 to 50. What's the difference between the Campaign and the Dungeon?

Campaign - all 50 maps are mirrored or reversed image for equal advantage.
Dungeon - all 50 maps put the player at a great disadvantage in various ways. For example, the enemy will have more pieces and/or the enemy King may be protected by walls. Even the game board and background music change to compliment the ominous challenge.

Players will have to use their upgraded abilities, chess skills, and puzzle-solving thinking to become a Dungeon Completionist.

Cosmetic Updates and More

SINGLE PLAYER
-Title screen has new artwork, soundtrack, UI, and button for new players to find the Discord server
-Movements and captures now have a "click" and "clack" sound effect
-Minor modifications to piece placements on Missions 14, 39, 41, and 43
-Update to not be able to consume Bishop's Peace and Rook's Fortification if no available targets are nearby

Multiplayer is not yet live and still in development. The majority of functionality is in, with the only feature remaining being the "campaign" version of multiplayer where you can play an opponent and accumulate XP as you play the campaign Mission 1-50 against them.
Right now only single matches are in with an XP limit of 1,000, but is not yet available to play.

MULTIPLAYER (Not yet live)
-Added select random map feature
-Added team piece preview feature before every match to see what level your enemy's pieces are for 5 seconds
-Fixed bug where earning XP in Multiplayer also rewarded XP in your single player campaign
-Added different sound effect for Reset Abilities feature
-Added number and letter grid to map preview
-Fixed bugs regarding Friend Requests
-Various cosmetic updates
