We've been working our tails off behind the scenes the past few months getting things ready for Kickstarter. Now we are finally in the home stretch.

Chester's Log: Update Two
Time for another game development update! This week we are going to showcase the next boss we are building. Let's all say hello to Jackie Jumps. This pissed-off bunny is a whirling tempest of fury. Hot-blooded and quick to anger, this rocket-fueled rodent is a handful.
Before we dive into let me remind everyone that our upcoming Kickstarter Campaign is Coming Soon. Only upon the icy cold frozen Tundra of Torment will you find the legendary Jackie Jumps. A whirling tempest of fury, this unstable bunny is hot-blooded and quick to anger. Never piss off the bunny. This rocket-fueled rodent loves to duel and never passes up a good fight. He loves to enter combat with a spear and springboard himself into the sky for devastating aerial maneuvers. This jacked-up rabbit fights like a dragoon on crack.
Lots of tender loving care went into the design of Jackie Jumps. We wanted to create an adorable-looking rabbit character, but with the mind of a complete psychopath. This was really fleshed out during VO development. Jackie was brought to life by the incredible Tom Schalk. Overall, we ended up with an incredible character.
Tundra of Torment
Before you can fight him one-on-one though, you have to get through The Tundra of Torment. This snow-capped hellscape will put your platforming skills to the test. Chester will have to contend with treacherous icy ledges, blizzards, snowmen, and penguins of doom! Just to name a few!

We'll have lots more content coming soon showing off more of Jackie Jumps. Including lots of videos and VO. Next time we will take a look at Laser Eye. Another boss we are cooking up. Wait till you get a load of this guy.

Chester's Log: Update One
So our Steam Demo is out and Next Fest is over. It's time to move on to the next stage of development. The first major thing we have coming down the pipe is our Kickstarter Campaign. We don't have an exact date yet, but we are shooting for late July or August sometime.

As far as actual game development goes, we are going to be focusing on a few different things over the next few months. One of which is going to be our gunplay in the game. We are listening to feedback and will be looking at different ways to spice up and improve the gunplay. We are floating around a few different ideas to make the gunplay more fun.
Chester Upgrades
We are going to be implementing some graphical updates to Chester which will improve the overall look and feel of the core gameplay. Additionally, we are going to be going back through our code and rewriting our player code and collision code to ensure the game is as bug-free as possible for release.
Drago Dinn
We are also going to be expanding and improving the Drago Dinn experience. We're going to be adding more content to his actual level. By that we mean we are adding a whole other back half to his level for Chester to conquer. Additionally, we are going to be adding more attacks and tweaking the mechanics of his boss encounter.
Gunplay
We are listening to feedback and will be looking to revamp our gunplay system. As of now, it is pretty basic and one-dimensional. In addition to adding in a Super Shot ability, we will be looking to add a more complex upgrade system to your arm cannon. Some of these ideas include:
Talent Tree - A basic talent tree that lets you upgrade your gun cannon from points or tokens earned from defeated bosses.
Mega Man System - A standard MM-style system where you earn new gun types based after defeating each boss. These new gun types are then used to defeat other bosses.
Contra Style Power-Ups - A system where power-ups and new gun types are randomly dropped from enemies. They would last until death or until you gained a new power-up.
Super Shot Variety - We also like the idea of implementing a system where you can augment and change what your Super Shot does. This could be a combination of a Talent Tree and MM Style.
Jackie Jumps
In addition to finishing up Drago Dinn, we will also be moving on to our next major boss, everyone's favorite bunny, Jackie Jumps. We'll be constructing his level "Tundra of Torment" and designing his boss fight fully. We have some fun ideas already planned for his winter wonderland. We're going to have lots more content featuring this pissed-off bunny in the coming months.
Laser Eye
We also have a super early look at Laser Eye and his level "The Ruins of Wailing". We can't wait to unveil more of this badass metal music-loving super villain. He's got his EYE on you already!

Residing in the flaming belly of Mount Inferno, this sophisticated snake loves company and dueling. Nothing gets his cold blood boiling more than a good old-fashioned dance-off. Nobody puts Drago in a corner.
