DEVLOG 03

One of the first mechanics we created was building buildings. These required the right amount of raw materials to be created, and some of them generated benefits appropriate to their nature.



Another extremely important element of the game is the mechanics of the elements and thematic years, about which we will tell a little more later.

We also implemented a new UI that reflects the style we want to present much better.

DEVLOG 02

The whole world of Chinese Empire has been locked in Unreal Engine 4.

At the beginning, we created a fragment of flora and the first models of buildings. These have been divided into two groups: standard and special. The first ones are characterized by light construction and simplicity, while the special buildings have many characteristic decorations, levels and stand on solid foundations.


DEVLOG 01

Welcome to the world of Chinese Empire!

As usual, everything started with an idea. The main assumption was to create a strategy game that reflects the atmosphere of the iconic RTS games in a modern version. This time, the entire game is also influenced by event cards assigning various modifiers, 5 different elements and the forces of enemies across the continent to the next years of reign, with which we will have to fight and form alliances.



In the first phase of production, we focused on writing out the GDD of the entire project and creating concept graphics. Each of the buildings has many technological levels that are reflected in the visual layer.
