I managed to fix the leaderboards issue faster than I expected. They should be working as per usual now.
Be sure to let me know if any further issues arise.
Enjoy!

Leaderboards are temporarily down
Hey guys,
An issue has come up where the game was hitting an error on launch. I have made a temporary fix so that the game now launches fine, but I have had to temporarily disable the leaderboards in order to do this.
Long story short, the game gets the date from an external site on launch to use for the weekly leaderboards and this site has shut down, meaning it can't get the date any more.
I will try and set up a new date system as soon as I can so the leaderboards can be used again.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

I have a new game on greenlight!
Hey guys,
My new game called 'Entangle' is up on greenlight and I would really appreciate your votes if you would be kind enough :)
I have a bunch of new things for you in this update.
- Clicking on a song in the list now plays a preview of the audio.
- The options menu has been redesigned as it was becoming cluttered. It is now split into four sections - display, audio, gameplay and controls.
- Added an option in fullscreen mode to change the black borders to be colourful and more attractive.
- Added an option to turn off the sounds that are played when you miss a note or make a mistake.
- Added an option to reset your controls to the default.
- Fixed a bug where the taskbar icon would disappear.
Let me know what you think!

Update #3 - 100% Tracking and Lefty Flip
Hey everyone,
This new update includes two new features.
The game now keeps track of which songs you have hit 100% of notes on and displays '100%' next to them.
There is also a left-handed mode in which the note chart is flipped, like other games.
Let me know what you think!

Tap mode leaderboards are now active!
Hey everyone,
After a week without an internet connection, it has finally been fixed.
I haven't received any reports of bugs or other issues with the tap mode engine, so I have gone ahead and activated the leaderboards for the latest update.
I have also fixed a small bug with the fast note speed setting where hitting a note right at the edge of the hitbox would incorrectly trigger as a miss.
The next things I will be working on are displaying which songs you have hit 100% of notes on and a left handed setting.

Update #2 - No-Strum Mode Beta + More!
Hey everyone,
My internet connection is still down, but I decided to take my PC over to a friend's place so I could bring you this update!
The most notable feature in this update is the addition of the highly requested no-strum mode, which I'm calling 'tap mode'. I'm releasing it as a beta to begin with to make sure that there's no major bugs or other issues with the engine and the leaderboards will be disabled temporarily for this time.
The second change in this update is that hammer-ons can now be strummed!
And finally, I have added a note speed setting to the options menu. You may now increase the scrolling speed of the notes if you wish. However, there is only two settings, 'slow' (3 pixels per frame) and 'fast' (4 pixels per frame). I can't offer more settings than this because using fractional numbers causes too many issues.
Hope you like it!

My Internet Has Gone Down
Hey everyone,
I'm very sorry to say that my internet is down at the moment, meaning that I won't be able to reply to any comments or make any updates for an indefinite amount of time.
I'm very angry about this as it has happened at one of the worst possible times, but it's completely out of my control I'm afraid.
I was almost ready to set the no-strum mode beta live and I'm very upset that I have to delay this further.
Sorry guys :(

Update #1
Hey everyone,
Based on your feedback, I have just made an update with the following changes:
- Hitboxes have been slightly increased in size to allow more room for error with your timing.
- The track editor now allows BPMs to contain 2 decimal places instead of 1.
- The option to set the offset between the notes and music was previously restricted to a range of -100 to 100. This has been increased to -500 to 500.
- A help button has been added to the custom songs page that explains how to configure them, as some people were having trouble.
Let me know what you think of these changes in the comments here or in a discussion topic.
Thanks!
PS: I am in the process of making a no-strum mode, as this is the most requested feature so far.
Non-English Characters
Hey everyone,
Just a quick heads up for anyone that does not have their system language set to English. If the path to your steam folder contains any non-english characters, then the game will not be able to access the music files, and when you try to play a song, you might receive a message saying that the audio file was not found.
In order to fix this, you need to make sure that the path to your steam folder doesn't contain any non-english characters. This may involve setting your system language to English temporarily whilst you play.
