Hello. Christmastry 2 on Steam has now been retired. This is to be expected as Cubistry is being transitioned to the place where all Istrys will be found on Steam. The process is not complete yet but as soon as the steps that needs to be done at Steam publishing's end has been completed we will make an announcement about how this will affect everyone who previously purchased the Istrys that have been retired and how the Istrys will be served on Steam going forward. Thank you for your patience as we go through this period of transition.

Christmastry 2 is being discontinued.
Hello. We have just been informed by Steam that they would like for us to release the Istrys as DLC on Steam. To comply with this decision we have requested that all Istrys other than Cubistry be retired which means that Christmastry 2 will shortly be discontinued. We have requested that refunds are issued to those who have already purchased the game if possible but we are also investigating other ways to give back to players who have already purchased the game. We thank you for your patience as we sort out the transition and look forward to serving you the Istrys through Cubistry.

Play custom sounds at match only or always and turn on/off mismatch sound functions.
Hello. We're happy to announce that the ability to only play custom sound for Istrys when a match is made and the ability to turn on/off sound made when two selected cubes are different have been added to the Settings screen.
As the name suggests, selecting "Play custom sounds at match only" button in the Settings screen makes it so custom sounds for an Istry is only played when two cubes match. When a single cube is selected the default Istrys selection sound will instead play followed by the custom mismatch sound for a given Istry if a mismatch is made. However, if "Turn mismatch sound off" button is then pressed in the Setting screen then the default Istrys selection sound will play even if a mismatch is made. Last but not least, selecting the "Play custom sound always" button and "Turn mismatch sound off" button will then cause the custom sound for whatever cube is selected to play even if there is a mismatch. Pressing "Turn mismatch sound on" button will of course cause mismatch sound to play when two cubes don't match. Enjoy and keep on Istrying! ːsteamhappyː
