Some people were affected by a bug that caused Chroma Lab to use up all of their computers memory (RAM) causing it to crash or run really slowly.
It was most likely caused by a recent SteamVR update breaking my adaptive resolution/quality implementation in Chroma Lab.
I have updated Chroma Lab to disable adaptive resolution which appears to have fixed the issue.
The down side is there may be a small loss in image quality/sharpness and you may occasionally have more dropped frames. The differences should be very small and likely not noticable.
I have also re-enabled the interactive walls during gameplay as I had accidentally disabled them during the previous update.
Update v1.1.0
It is long overdue but here is a small update to Chroma Lab
Changes:
Increased the maximum particle count from 1 million to 2 million (for those who want to really push their Nvidia Titan V)
Added a new particle shader and color palette
Updated MixCast to v2.0
A few other small changes/improvements
Release!!!
Almost a year after first starting it, I am proud to finally release Chroma Lab!
Thanks to all the beta testers who kept making me make it better!
