New in this release:
- Four new Steam achievements for 12 total.
- Scoring an A-grade in Survivor unlocks a new achievement. There's also a new Top survivor ranking if you truly ace it.
- Survivor Run grades have been curved slightly to be a little easier to score well than in first release.
- Bertha's speed had been adjusted on levels 9-16 and 17-25 to be more consistent.
- Tutorial level now includes extra instructions to help you through the level.
- There is an option to Bind the 'L' key to Quick Exit (Leave) the game. This is enabled in settings and is primarily aimed at Arcade Cabinet / No Keyboard controller use. A single 'L' will exit the current game, a second press will exit the application.
New Game Mode: Time Trials!
Accessible to players who have completed level 7 or higher in any other game mode. Bring your fast fingers and try and beat Bertha's best times for each level. Complete a theme -- Jungle, Farm, or City -- to get an achievement and unlock the next theme. Compare times for each completed theme to see who is the fastest. Can you speed-run through Chuckie Egg 2017 and beat our own best times? Time progress is saved as you go.
Enable Time Trial games in the Settings, Game Mode screen.
Fixed in this release:
- A few dead ladders on Mountain Madness stages and in main game have been fixed.
- Survivor Plus mode has been fixed so it works properly :D
- The tutorial graphic now correctly refers to the PC / Mac edition of the game.
- Ostriches no longer fall off certain ladder bottoms.
- Hard game mode now correctly ramps difficulty when on later levels.
- Harry aligns much faster to the ladder he is on.
Known Issues:
- Plugging a controller into PC after the game has started may result in the controller not being recognized.
- Exiting the game after a level is complete but prior to the summary page loading sometimes results in the level not completing correctly.
- Under certain conditions (uncommon), a UI screen can become locked-up, requiring the player to restart the game. We're working on a fix for this.
- Key bindings do not auto map if an identical key to one already mapped is chosen.
- Trying to bind a movement key to 'L' while having Quick Exit enabled will fail.

Chuckie Egg 2017 Version 1 is released!
There's new steam achievements for Survivor mode, and we're introducing a new game mode: Time Trial. Can you speed run your way through the levels and beat the devs best times? Complete with new achievements, Time Trial is a totally different way of playing Chuckie Egg 2017!
And of course, we'll be squishing bugs where we find them (or when you guys report them to us!). You can read the V1 Release Notes in the Discussion group.
