Content Update 10 is live – What's New? This update takes your City Bus Manager experience to the next level:
Highlights: 🚏 Ad Campaigns for Lines: Launch targeted ads to attract more passengers to your company or specific routes. 🏢 Unlimited External Depots: Build and manage as many depots as your fleet requires. ⚡ Performance Boosts: Smoother gameplay and optimized RAM usage for better overall performance. 🗺️ Map Update: Updated map data to November 2024 for even more accurate routes. 📅 Improved Shift Planner: Smarter automatic assignment of shifts for greater efficiency.
Performance Improvements:
-Enhanced performance for large numbers of buses, staff, and routes. -Optimized zooming and smoother gameplay at triple speed. -Reduced RAM usage and smaller save file sizes, solving Steam Cloud issues. -Fixed memory leaks and addressed occasional stutters.
Map Updates:
-Updated road and location data (as of November 2024). -Fixed issues with certain roads not displaying or being driveable. -Corrected airport positions and improved traffic light behavior.
Additional Fixes & Improvements:
-Routes can now include up to 1,000 stops. -Fixed resolution and Service Center break time saving issues. -Added higher data limits for internet contracts. -Further improved controller support and translations. -Automatic game pause while editing schedules.

We have released a small hotfix to adress your reported bugs.
Changelog: - Fixed a bug where there were no more passengers on the map after some time - Fixed bug that savegame was not saved in rare cases - Reduced size of savegames - Fixed bug that depot could not be placed in regions where water divided the map into multiple parts - Old bus stops from hotel transfers are now automatically deleted - Several points of interest of the same type no longer multiply the number of passengers in some cases (e.g. several universities in one spot) - Zoom speed on the map has been optimised - Missing translations in some languages added - Fixed a bug that caused events not to be saved and loaded correctly, which could cause shuttle orders to disappear before they took place, for example - Fixed repaint template of B9TL

We have just released a hotfix which solves the reported issues of the latest content update:
- Passengers can now stay on the bus for longer than an hour if they are travelling long distances with few intermediate stops - In scenarios with a Point of Interest goal, the POI is now highlighted on the map while the goal is active - Fixed a bug where the resolution was not saved in window mode - Fixed a bug that incorrectly displayed the message that the final stop was not near the start stop when building a route - Fixed a bug where the repaint of the previous bus was sometimes still displayed in the paint shop - Fixed a bug where modding buses did not work correctly if there was a ‘/’ or ‘\’ in the name - Fixed a bug with the time jump - Fixed a bug where outer walls were not demolished when ivy was attached to the wall - Corrected further positions of airports

Content Update 9: Map Update, Automatic Repairs in External Depots and many more
The City Bus Manager Content Update 9 is now available for all users!

Highlights:
Automatic repair in external depots added
Update of the map data to August 2024
600 million new buildings added to the map, especially in UK and USA (Thanks to GeoSci for the support!)
Hotels added as points of interest, which also have an impact on passenger numbers
New objectives in the scenario editor: ‘Transport passengers to a specific location’ and ‘Transport passengers to a specific type of location’
‘Allow line changes within a shift’ can now be set individually for each timetable
Map:
Bollards that can be passed by buses can now be driven through
Corrected positions of some airports
Routes & shifts:
Fixed a bug where passengers never boarded at the start stop
Fixed a bug where passengers did not board the correct bus
Fixed a bug that caused 0% network coverage to be displayed in the statistics
Fixed a bug where some routes were still displayed on the map even though the route was never built
Fixed a bug where the coverage of stops was not displayed correctly in certain cases
Fixed a bug that caused the shift plan to be unlockable in scenarios, even though it should have been researched from the start according to the scenario settings
- When building a public service line or event line, the relevant POIs are now highlighted in a larger size
Events:
Multiple rail replacement transport events can now take place simultaneously
Rail replacement services can no longer start and end at the same stop
Rail replacement services now only take place at stops that can be reached
If the bus is being cleaned during a bus hire request, the cleaning staff will no longer be abducted
Fixed a bug that prevented shuttle orders from being completed

When assigning a shift, the system now calculates exactly whether a bus has enough fuel for the shift
Fixed a bug where the exit animation for modding right-hand drive buses was not working correctly
Fixed a bug where the bus details were not displayed when a bus returned from a shift
Fixed a bug that caused buses to clone themselves in rare cases
Employees:
In external depots, the current workload is now displayed for employees (instead of stress, which is not relevant for external employees)
Fixed a bug that caused training to be free for employees

Fixed a bug under MacOS where you only had a black screen in full screen mode
Fixed a bug that could cause the game to freeze when extending the map
Fixed a bug that could cause the game to freeze in rare cases when loading ‘Load navigation data’
