Additions:
Added new title “Exterminator” to reward players who report effective bugs to us continuously, we will players who are qualified to get the titles according to bug-report contribution via forums, tickets, etc;
Added Cross-server Ladder (1vs1), along with brand new match-up and rating system. First 5 daily winnings of each player will receive great rewards, there is no limit for fights of the Ladder. Cross-server Ladder credits refresh and reset at 00:00 (cross-server time, which means 02:00 for S2 and 06:00 for EU server), every Monday, rewards will be mailed based upon Standings.
Added AI character invitation feature in team dungeons, which allows players to invite AI characters that are matched at Power to join the team when there is no appropriate team mates around;
Added brand new Stance System, unlock at level 31. Players can get Stance Bonus and unlock extra Stance Skill bonus by leveling up (can consume both Energy Stone and Electrum) and enhancing relevant Stances.
Changes:
Now players can right-click to batch use if they have lots of stacked items;
Now Mystery Shop can purchase items with Shillings;
Tweaked Alchemy rewards a bit;
Now Bounty Quest has Energy Stones as rewards, players can use Energy Stones to level up Stance Bonus;
Decreased Shillings reward of the Bounty Quest while increased chance to refresh Blue, Purple and Orange quests;
Changed rewards of Boss Gauntlet, now people can loot Pet fragments, every win will gain a permanent Pet fragment;
Increased Ruinous Onslaught effective time from 0.5s to 0.75s;
Decreased HP growth of each class (towards all levels) but increased combat stats, which could slightly affect Power as well.
Version 2.8 Ready to Go Live

Dear CoS Community,
Once again, a quick thank go out to everyone who joined us from the very beginning, we are very pleased at your zeal to our game since CoS re-launched.
As one of the most vibrant among all CoS servers, European server is playing a vital role in our operations expansion. Now months have lapsed since the first EU server launched, and your continuous support and effective feedback have made us go full steam towards the next step – make CoS community grow bigger.
To reach more potential players, we decided to launch a new European server at 10AM CEST next Wednesday, September 17th, together with the next major update v2.8.

As always, new server events are the best places to establish and grow a new character. This time the dev team added two more events (a combination of 9 in total) for all new players, take some first look:

European Server Merge
Hello all,
We know a lot of you have been interested in server merges since months ago, and now the time has finally come. We have decided to merge the European servers (EU1 and EU2) tomorrow:
When:
Wednesday, September 10th 2014, 03:00:00, CEST
The merged EU server will be back up within 4-5 hours, which means after the rountine maintenance, the two servers will become one. People can still access the game from normal access links. Main goal of the merge is to maintain a robust server pop and extend playing hours generated by our EU players. Competition for Cross-server PvP participants will soon become more intense than ever! In order to avoid the name repeat problem, all characters on the merged server will have a prefix s4 or s5 to identify which server they come from.
Please note that the merged server can host up to 5 characters, if you have more than 5 characters in total on both servers, the mergence will delete those character that being long-time inactive or low-leveled comparing to other active ones.

Patch Notes of v2.7.3 Launched

In the new v2.7.3, we introduced an overhauled Pet system to make Pets go up on the front line, which one do you prefer?

Additions:
Added new Pet System that enables Pets to level up, extend lifetime (with identical ones) and give bonuses to characters. For Pets that can level up, after reaching level 4, they will need additional resources (can be found in various Shops) to move up to higher level. Existing Pets will be unequipped and go to the backpack after patch;
Added new Talent bonuses, unlocking at level 40;
Expanded Tower of Peril to Layer 70;
Added new Ultra Diamond Bundle, available on Steam soon.
Changes:
Increased drop rate of the Daily Quest “Extermination for Examination”.
Increased Pet drop rate in Boss Gauntlet;
Now Valor Position is based upon gained daily Valor points, along with 3 different Leaderboards. Leaderboard of the Valor System displays Valor points gained yesterday, which will determine the position for current day; Daily Valor Leaderboard shows Valor points gained the current day, it update regularly; Valor Leaderboard shows total Valor points gained since the Valor System went live;
Now Valor rewards of Tourneys, Deathmatch and Rift Weaver will add to the Valor System automatically;
GM and Mods now have different chat text colors than normal players;
Mercenary System now allows Silver+ Subscribers to auto refresh and consume non-Purple and Orange Cards;
Tweaked Monster Lair rewards, players now get relevant Orange fragments instead of Shillings;
Disabled the exit during Company Wars;
Removed Hardcore or Relaxed option while Auto-combat enabled at level 6.
Fixes:
Fixed an issue where some players could possibly abuse Cardiotonic in Rift Weaver;
Fixed a bug where system might cost E or Bound E if players clicked on “Merge” button multiple times to get Mods.
